TIGERS MAY BE UNCHANGED

The Tigers have named the 17 players who defeated Huddersfield Giants last Friday, plus centre Jordan Thompson and prop Chris Feather, for this Saturdays engage Super League clash with the Catalans Dragons, the Jungle KO 6.00pm.

Skipper Ryan Hudson and scrum half Brent Sherwin remain sidelined but both are looking to return next month, whilst James Evans and James Ford are still ruled out with shoulder and leg injuries respectively.

12 points in the match would take Kirk Dixon to 500 points in senior rugby.

The 19 are –
1 Richard Owen, 2 Kirk Dixon, 3 Michael Shenton, 5 Michael Wainwright, 6 Rangi Chase, 8 Mitchell Sargent, 10 Craig Huby, 11 Brett Ferres, 12 Ryan Clayton, 13 Joe Westerman, 14 Stuart Jones, 15 Liam Higgins, 16 Chris Feather, 17 Ryan Boyle, 19 Kirk Netherton, 21 Sione Faumuina, 23 Ryan McGoldrick, 25 Dean Widders, 26 Jordan Thompson.

I hope/expect Cas to win this although the Dragons are in better shape than they were a few weeks ago! I expect Cas to field the same line up as we did at Hudds with Feather and Thompson missing out.

We need a win, especially at home as our form there is poor this year!!

I did say on another thread i thought this would be the turning point of our season. If we win it could signal a solid run to the end with players due back from injury soon.

I agree segulfp - hopefully Sherwin and Hudson should be back next week or the week after which will give us a huge boost going into the final stages of the campaign!

I said at the beginning of the year I would be happy with 8th and I stand by that. I think we have improved massively and are certainly a top eight side. Just need to find some consistency!
