Aussies recover vs Sussex...

comment on the article

34 for no loss in just 7 overs... Katich and Hughes opening the batting for the tourists.

Dark omens for England, methinks. What about you?

**********

Update 1: 113 for 4 after 30 overs... 2 quick wickets; Sussex back in the game.

Update 2: 115 for 5; North falls to Sandri.

yes , plenty of barren places with sand where we used to have ind vs pak matches with friends and we almost always ended up losing ......those were the twilight but golden years of Imran khan and they were really pumped up.No such spots now ...anywhere you look , it is a skyscraper.

"Holden do you ever do anything else on 606 other than abusing others?"

I'm just copying you nm...

I discuss sport at length under another guise... I assume you do too as you don't under that name...

Moutarde -I think he's called Hughes or something, but I prefer the official name given to him by every Aussie I've heard on the subject; "The New Bradman". Apparently he's going to score 2,000 runs against us this summer.
-----------------------

Moutarde lets be a little conservative to avoid embarrassing the new prodigy Hughes. Hughes will score at least 500 runs in the Ashes with his eyes closed.

Australia will definately struggle without Andrew Symonds. He can make partnerships and hit runs. They should have given him some slack...bloke lost his friends like Hayden, Langer, Mcgrath.. He gets ban for drinking few beers..come on guys, is he monk or something...Australian cricket in its panic losing its cool. Replace Watson with Symonds..

114 for 5. An impressive Sandri only bowling 9 overs until the last hour, however Sussex decide to continue with an average Rayner, and an overwhelmed Beer. A blatant attempt by Sussex to try and ensure the game lasts for 4 days, rather than trying to give the Aussies a damn good thrashing... A dissapointing £15 spent...

You see jackbruster, thats the difference between the English and the Aussies. The Australians have standards of professionalism beyond the English. If those standards were applied to the current English team there would only be a handful still in the squad .. and not a bad thing that would be.
