Around the net post shotWimbledon by silverplumes (U3535565) 23 June 2009 Did you see that shot in the Federer vs Lu match, where Fed chases down Lu's backhanded over-head volley, and hits a backhand winner *around the net-post*? Shot of the tournament so far. Latest 10 commentsRead members' comments or add your own

clairefedererfan (U13266746) posted Jun 23, 2009 Yes it was duggie! The commentators were hilarious yesterday - I don't know who it was with Mcenroe, but he was being very disparaging about Lu's chances 'He never wins more than 1 match in a row' 'only does well in challenger events' blah blah, only ever beat Nalbandian (to which Mcenroe said 'well that's GOOD to beat Nalbandian!). Then Mcenroe said something like 'Wasn't it Lu who beat Murray in the Olympics?' and the other guy was all 'Yes it was, but in Murray's defence, he had just arrived from somewhere else, he wasn't on top form, I don't think you can read anything into that.....' SO defensive!
