Song, Denilson and Diaby are still learning their trade.

If Diaby could live up to his potential it would be problem solved as far the DM position is concerned. Song could do the job but needs to improve on his passing of the ball.
What happens if Song is injured, off to compete in the World cup qualifiers or African cup of Nations?

Denilson covers a lot of milage on the pitch but is not a natural defender. Denilson appears lack pace and is far too similar to Fabregas.

Good signing- Arsene knows.

It's also interesting seeing one or two comments with the idea of playing Verm, Galas and Toure in the same side. A bit more tactical flexibility at the back with the right players could do us wonders. For example in key games during the 88/89 season, specifically at Anfield, Graham played three at the back with O'Leary deployed as a sweeper. This tactic could be used again if Wenger thinks the defenders are good enough to pull it off.

It is of course a great shame that Flamini went and Gilbo left- with a player in one of their moulds, a fit Eduardo and a flourishing Walcott, next season could be very good indeed.

Here's hoping...

Eboue is not the best crosser in the Arsenal team, in fact crossing and general end product is what makes Arsenal fans so frustrated with him (that and the diving). He is quick and has great stamina, and was a very good rightback, but not as good as Sagna, not for me. And certainly shouldn't be playing right-wing, not with Walcott, Nasri, possibly Arshavin, and a returning Rosicky.
I agree with several of the posts made regarding Eduardo, he could prove the key.

Remember that cross for RVP from Eboue against charlton?

Also defensively, I remembver so many times where Ronaldo was in Eboue's pocket.

Truth is, Arsenal don't actually have any out and out wingers or crossers of the ball, so I think Eboue is the best crosser.

Arsenal need to get some no-nonsense players into the team who will stick the ball in the net when inside the box rather than try and walk the ball into the net. The team also appear to be afraid to shoot outside the box. I think if we signed a midfielder similar to Essien, and a defender like Vidic/Terry we would win the league.

We need to stop playing like a bunch of girls and get the job done.

To have Thomas at the center back is great but we still need one more central defender , atleast one midfilder and two strikers.
Please proffessor Wenger do something about these, people are laughing at us.

I have a good feeling about this guy. I did kind of agree with Adam's comments about him not being big enough for the premier league but lets see how it goes, 10 million for a defender he must have something! Its a shame Melo signed on would have liked us to go and get him but i wouldnt mind us getting Inler(Flamini type) and we sure do need a player like that atm. It seems as though Villa is Barca bound, would love us to sell adebayor and make one final push for him. If not him then this Dnzko guy is pretty good too.

honestly i like eboue and i fink he has a lot of potential but if we have the chance to get melo with a swap deal i think that we are making a great choice. We definately need a seriously strong defensive midfielder and melo has shown that in the confederations cup.
