Has become our second signing. Good purchase IMO.

The more important question, in my opinion, is whether Mick Mccarthy is good enough to manage at Premiership level. In my opinion the answer is No!

It's funny how managers of the promoted clubs "always" retain their position while selling off the players they consider not good enough to step up. A braver Chairman would look at the Manager first and in some cases decide that maybe he's not good enough.

Admittedly this might seem a bit harsh but surely success and survival come ahead of decisions of the heart, don't they?

great signing... experienced keeper, one of the top 8 keepers in the premiership.... good luck to you guys, now i think you need a good striker and a defensive mid, then you can stay up no problem.

steamrocket, by what criteria do you judge MM is not good enough?

This point has been made many times by other Wolves fans on here: During his other stint in the premiership with Sunderland he was given NO MONEY to spend. No manager, however good, can survive in the premiership with no money. Even managers such as David Moyes who are commonly held up as great managers working on a budget are able to spend, Fellaini's arrival for example. This being the case, MM's record at Sunderland proves absolutely nothing about his ability to manage at the top level.

Ask most Wolves fans and they'll tell you what a great job MM has done since taking over 3 years ago. He was also the last manager to take Ireland to a World Cup, so has been succesful at the top level.

You obviously know nothing about what you're commenting on...

Great signing, with a young Henessey in goal this is a great experienced back up keeper and good job Mick for keeping yourself occupied in the transfer market.

Marcus will be a great asset to Wolves. He always threw his shirt and gloves to the supporters at the end of each home game making him very popular with the young fans but not so popular with the kit man. He was involved in all sorts of charity work with Reading. A real character and I will miss him.

The advantage of having this guy in the squad is that he is an American. As seen last week in South Africa, their attitude is fantastic, they are team players, give everything and want to win. Having him around will be good for the club and most importantly his attitude will really help the youngsters in the squad. Overall a very wise and prudent signing.
