We finally have a new manager...Premier League Wigan Athletic by Sheikh_Mahand (U6807539) 15 June 2009 Roberto Martinez will be confirmed as Wigan's new manager tomorrow, it seems. Compensation has been agreed with Swansea for the his assistant manager Graeme Jones and chief scout Kevin Reeves, according to a statement from Huw Jenkins on the official Swansea webpage. Martinez may have been a hit as a player at Wigan, but can he manage? 2 good seasons with Swansea is a world away from the Premier league. Curbishley should have been sounded out - look what he achieved with Charlton, very much a similar club to Wigan.
