all in all a good bit of business.sold in a deal in the region of £600,000.we should invest that in a striker a little better than sodje(weve got another oddjob on our hands me thinks)

quite a good deal IMO. he was never going to stay to bench warm was he? And i think we should invest the money earned on another striker.

OK sodje hasn't had the chance to prove himself yet so no-one can judge him as of yet. But its a big jump for a young player so an experienced striker would be welcome.

Yes the price is fair enough considering he was nearly out of contract.
However, I know it's early days but is anyone else nervous about the pattern - selling Muller and getting bids for Da Silva, who will leave, but re-signing Coulson and Sodje who, let's face it, won't be the answer?

Hopefully some decent signings on the way and that we keep Da Silva- I know he wasn't great last season but definitely still has great potential.

davey said that sodje, adam, lazurus and jordan hibbert will all be part of a development squad so i doubt we will be seeing sodje straight away unless he is on fire in pre season, i like to see youngsters get a chance and now with the 7 subs rule we can put youngsters on the bench

Palace fan from Germany in peace!

The "kicker", Germany´s most reliable source in football journalism, has just reported that the fee for Müller is around 300.000 EURO.

About a week ago, it was meant to be around 500.000 EURO, so I guess they have new information...?!

Good luck for next season!

Says on our site it's £600,000, so unless the exchange rate has changed dramatically overnight then I think that'll be the right price.

Good Deal - He's been a great 'keeper for us over the past 2 years - tidy bit of profit in the deal too smiley Luke Steele is good enough as a replacement so no worries there.

Good luck to Heinz at his new club.

Nice deal for the reds, Muller lost his way big style last season, he wasnt the same after lay off, and lost us lots of points in relegation dog fight, just to need adequate back up to steele now.

i think muller was getting too complacentlast season and we only stayed up because davey had to do what was right and drop the big german steele is more than an adiquate replacement and we have got a good deal from the sale
