Superb 125s at Catalunya

Another exciting 125 race at the Catalunya circuit in Spain, involving a two way fight between Iannone and Simon. Simon was in front at the beginning of the last lap, but thought he had won it and celebrated, dropping to 6th before fighting his way back to 4th. He nearly got on the podium too, posting the same time as Gadea, but lost out on the video replay.

Bad race for Bradley Smith, though. He came in 8th.

Overall it was a cracker. Can't wait for the 250s and the big boys.

I have always loved to watch Formula One, but when it comes to excitement that lasts the entire race, rather than the first lap, then nothing can top the bikes.

i'll second that, i only bother with the highlights of the F1these days, only takes 10-15 mins as opposed to wasting 2 hours watching the whole thing.

Yeah that 125 race was very funny, couldn't help but laugh at Simon though doh I did feel for him when he had to move from 3rd on the podium to 4th (he threw his yellow rostrum cap in disgust!).

250's: 1)Bautsita, 2) Aoyama, 3) Barbera in top 3 places. I like Simoncelli, he crashed out on 2nd lap sadface

I also don't want a spanish rider to win MotoGP winkeye

Loved the 125 race it was great. Fancy Simon forgetting to add one more lap on to the race distance. Love it. But Brad's is now 2.5 points behind Simon now sadface.

Great action in the 125s agreed. But where on earth have Eurosport got that commentator from?
He's like a ruddy parrot, same old phrases over and over again!!!

Brad is 1.5 points behind not 2.5, 84 and 82.5 respectively smiley
You never know that point may come in handy at the end of the year. (Fingers crossed).

Re the comment about the commentary on Europsort.

100% agree the pair of them are complete carp, if I hear "He's really going about his work" or "he owns the racetrack" again my TV is in danger of wearing a brick! Bring back Toby and Jules! steam

Also why has JT still got a ride?
