Does Kaka actually want to move to Madrid?

comment on the article

I know Milan are desperate for the cash, but you kind think that Kaka has been forced to sign for Real Madrid against his will.

As the move edges that little bit closer, you gotta think that Kaka is been forced into moving to Madrid. With other clubs such as Chelsea and Manchester City chasing the Brazilian playmaker, and offering more money for him. You think why has Kaka not been given the chance to sign for the club he wants and would feel at home with.

Does anyone think the same as me?

Only two:
Xabi Alonso
Ledesma

Another player who could play that role (in the sense, not the most attacking in vision or passes) is Toulalan.

I wish De La Red had a good heart. sadface

De La Red is quality, hopefully he'll be able to play again. What's the crack with him? Is he seeing specialists or something? He was supposed to be taking a year out, but I have heard nothing of what happens next for him?

He spent his childhood in Puerto Madryn, in the province of Chubut, Argentina. He joined the youth system of top Argentine club Boca Juniors.

In 2001 he was noticed by Lecce, whose sports director Pantaleo Corvino decided to bring Ledesma to Salento, where he immediately became a regular in the team. At Lecce, despite being young, he was captain until November 2005.

In July 2006, Roman club Lazio signed Ledesma, after Lecce were relegated to Serie B. With Lazio, Ledesma signed a contract that worth 450,000 euro per season until 2011.

Ledesma's first year in the capital, the 2006-07 season, saw him establish himself as a key player despite a difficult start. His first moment of magic, came in the Derby, when he scored a rocket of a strike from 25 metres out. He continued this good form until the end of the season, by which time Lazio had qualified for the UEFA Champions League. He is currently a mainstay for the Lazio, and one of the club's vice-captains.

Cheers Zizoued. ok I had tried looking up some info but couldn't make my mind up on which of the several Ledesmas to choose!

Seriously, as far as I can remember I haven't seen him play, I'll have to keep an eye out.

Gonna guess that last comment is from a bitter Man Utd fan? The Spanish taxpayer pays for Real's players now do they? There's a lot of big 4 fans seem to getting right pent up about this, try not to worry fellas, competition is healthy.

Ledesma is a quality player, I like Gargano at Napoli as well, though he is generally a more defensively minded player, great shot in him though. What about Maniche, released on a free, was at one time a quality midfielder? Or how about Arteta? Frings?

Kaka is NOT the most expensive player in the world!! Real paid 75 million euro for Zidane in 2001 and the paid "only" 65 million euro's for Kaka!!

off course the totally insane transferfee for C. Ronaldo off 94 million euro, makes him the most expensive player ever!!
