I am in shock but Holland completely outplayed us and congratulations to them, we should never have taken them so lightly, I think our side was wrong but we cant make excuses, we were outplayed & I hope that the ECB will find a way for Holland to get in the Friends Provident Trophy next year.

I think we will come close V Pakistan but I think we will lose, therefore Holland are trough and I really hope they do well & cause another upset(please be against Pakistan), who knows, Argentina were Rank Outsiders in the Rugby WC in 2007 & got to the semis, Holland are about the same rank I think, how do you think the rest of the group games will go everyone???

Finally england had to pay the heavy price for not picking the right side. Rashid was no where near to compete with 20 20 format. foster looked bit lost. shah has been so inconsistent last few months. i think 162 on the board was quite enough but england bowlers should have wrapped up 10 wickets against team like holland. if they cant then ....

Why are we so surprised that England, a side so devoid of talent, character and strength , lost to Holland. I am more surprised England beat Scotland. For so long England at their core have been so full of excuses, so over confident and so utterly shambolic. The cricket team are ultimately a national embarrassment , a public joke. Perhaps we should just pack up the game and concentrate on curling!

Always amuses me to see the over reaction, invariably by smug scots, welsh, irish, Aussies etc.

"Got to go down as one of sports biggest ever upsets!". In a format of cricket still in its infancy and due to short duration will throw up lots of surprises. There are numerous results from the one day world cup that trump this poor England performance. This and other similar comments have to go down as some of the biggest over exaggerations in world sport, ever! lol

England fielded and bowled poorly and got what they deserve. The Nederlands are just showing that as the format gets shortened upsets are way more likely and it is very good for cricket. As an England fan I am not at all upset. Think it is good for cricket but not at all expected. Especially given the weather.

Hope the Nederlands go a lot further... still hope England go through though!

I would like to see England play Holland in the longer formats of the game in May instead of the West Indies as the West Indies players don't give a damnt and are incapable of playing in colder weather, not so with the Holland cricketers who would give 100% when playing international cricket in any format.

I cannot stand posters who give up before having actually lost. On one hand T20 is a lottery, and on the other 'we cannot win as Pak is superior'. Massive contradictions.
Have hope, and God willing will fight to win. Just what the Pakistanis will say.

Biggest knee jerk reaction to a game that where it was anyones game right and up to the final ball. It's not the first time a minor cricket nation beat a major cricket nation and it certainly won't be the last.

Well done to the Netherlands for making a proper game out of it and not lying down when England looked to set a huge target. An epic game from start to finish, the game of cricket is the winner.

England were below par and Holland played extremely well. The selections of Rashid and Key were poor and we missed having a hitter around the no. 6 spot, Mascharenas should have been there!
England still should have won though with Broad bowling a great last over but fielding like a clown!!!!

Shocking selection policy (how did Key get in the side?), shocking tactics both with the bat and ball. England were 100-0 at 11 overs and ended up finishing on 160 odd after 20 overs. However the game should have been a procession no disrespect to the Netherlands but only Nannes would even have a chance of making the England team. Having said that the selectors need to be sacked AGAIN! How many times does Mascherenas have to be dropped before they realise he is the only Englishman capable of coming in and teeing off? Even the much hyped KP does not possess the ability to come in and tee off from ball one. Well if he does possess it he left it back with his first few innings for England in south africa! I feel like I have said this before but hopefully this will be a shock to the system that will make England realise they have to change their one day policy drastically.
