Being a Chelsea fan, and even after going out somewhat unfairly to Barca I will still be rooting for them in the final.
I'd rather go out to the winners of the competition, and well, I hate United! :)

It's funny, because United have been playing a team with "free flowing football" for the last five years. Their name is Arsenal, and they are capable of every bit as spectacular a performance as this Barcelona side.

Their record against them this season was 2 wins, 1 loss, 1 draw. The last time they tried to take United head on and United played for the win, Arsenal got beaten 3-1. They started strong, started passing, and United tore them apart.

Barca are a slightly tougher prospect, but United are one of the best passing sides in the world, and they are the fastest counterattacking side in the world. United do not play cagey cup finals. I've never watched a major cup final with United playing in it where they've not thrown themselves into it.

Barca all the way.
Chelsea tactic, park the bus in front of goal.
Man U tactic, Ronaldo dive near the 18 and get in those free kicks, it won't work.

I dont think this will be the classic everyone expects. Finals these days are very cagey, as there is so much pressure to win for both teams. Despite this though, there is no doubt everyone will be on the edge of their seats. Im predicting a cagey yet extremely intruiging affair. But i just cant call the winner. Its going to be an absorbing match tonight. I cant wait.

Its a shame some of the scots suffer from such a inferiority complex that they can't support their neighbours.
Hoping for a great game tonight, could handle a utd loss as long as it is a exceptional game of football played by both.

At least we can now enjoy our peace after that comprehensive bashing...., back to transfer rumours, I don't think the Confederation Cup will dominate the game of the year played last nite in Rome.
