Even as a Blackburn fan I have to agree that Burnley deserve their promotion. They've had a truly remarkable run in the cups this year as well as some solid league form. They outplayed Reading in the semi and scored an absolute belter at Wembley yesterday so who could say they don't deserve their success!

Congrats to all the clarets, let's hope Burnley & Blackburn can enjoy two cracking games next season, hopefully without any ugly behaviour from the fans.

Here's to friendly rivalry and another North West team in the Prem!!!

He'd be a fool to go to Celtic imo - gotta give Burnley a season at least.

Congrats to Burnley - deserved some kind of success this season after they way they have played. Great goal as well!

Congratulations Burnley - one of the best visiting sides to Loftus Road for the last couple of seasons. After beating us home and away, not disappointed to see you go up! Well deserved.

And great to see ex-R Clarke Carlisle in the top flight - really chuffed for him.

I'm well pleased that Burnley made it. Played some lovely stuff this season and well deserved.

Now the trick is staying there!

Congrats Burnley!, my friend is a strong support, and i watched/ heard a few of the games. you deserved to go up. But now you have got to prove yourselfs, and stay up. Now i dont pay attetion the prem much, so i am a little uncertain as to what is going to happen, it think you will be able to knock a few goals against Hull and smaller-prem clubs. fullham inculded (no offence i am netural to you guys)

Suggestions on who to try and pick up?

Micheal Owen. Get him on the cheap, he will be wanting to stay in the PL, so i would take advantage of that, yes i know he isnt the best player anymore, but he would help you guys out i would say.
As i say i only know smaller teams names, so i cant help much with the big guys names.

I would suggest takiing one of my boys on loan..m.smith could be a reat asset to your side. He has provenn he has what it takes to make it in league one. And i am pretty sure he will do fine in champ.

Anyways BURNLEY!!! CONGRATS!!! lets hope you stay up!! cheers

Congratulations Burnley! Great to watch the team play with flair in cups and the league.
Really enjoyed this post. I think it's a great story and one that has caught almost everyone's imagination - never seen so many fans from different clubs being positive. All the Best & Good Luck next year!

I don't know why some people are saying Burnley are gonna get thrashed when they come up.

Maybe they will, as teams promoted through the playoff place tend to be the team bookies tip to come back down.

But i'm not sure with Burnley, they have shown what they can do in the Cups against Premiership opposisition even if the teams might not of been at Prem League strength in terms of lineup.

To me as a Liverpool supporter Burnley are one of the teams coming up where unlike Wolves and Birmingham, when you play them you don't automatically think "well this should be 3 points if all goes well", you think, *intake of breathe through teeth* "i dunno bout this match".

Odd's are they will be the whipping boys but they are the team where you just think to yourself, they could get a result.

Every team will pretty much expect to beat Burnley or get positive results but i think they will upset one or two established clubs. Owen Coyle is a top manager imo' and i hope he manages to not only bring in some good players but numbers to help increase the size of a small squad.

I'm really hoping Burnley do well and stay up. Now im just hoping my best mate doesn't read this coz he's a blade and wouldn't appreciate it!
