there are romours that diego milito might move to united, i know they are just romours but its an interesting player being linked to united.
honestly i havent seen enough of milito since he moved to genoa, but i watched him alot for zaragoza and i think he could be a very good signing for fergie for probably around 10-15mil

It's immoral when such large sums of money are involved in the world football tansfer market.
Imagine,70 millions for overrated CRonaldo!
So we have to think about the following measures..
Cap on wages and transfer spending.
Six home players and five foreign players...6+5..
No transfers of internationals players under 21.
It's not only Platini's story, there's a lot of home grown players fighting for a chance to play for big clubs in England.
Maybe if England wins the World Cup 2010 in South Africa ,clubs will start to do more for the youngsters. By the way I hope the final will be England vs. Argentina.A great classic, but was never the final.
But if this Ronaldo deal goes ahead it will be very good for MUtd.
Selling C.Ronaldo and Nani and buying A.Young and Ribery will strenghten the team.I think Ferguson his very clever if he signs Diego Milito too.
Maybe this means MUtd. will not sign Tevez. The argentinian international is too good to sit on the bench, an outstanding player who once saved West Ham from relegation.
With Ribery backing, Rooney will have the freedom to play as a real 10 and that will be devastating for the opponents. If HGreaves returns , perfect.
The fact is that MUtd. or any other Big Club are not in the situation to spend so much money on Super- Stars.Maybe with the exception of MCity...who knows?

How can you possibly imagine Man U ever getting Messi from his boyhood and dream club Barcelona? Considering I believe he has a 100m Euro buy-out clause in his contract, Man U are rich but not that rich, neither are they that stupid enough to believe they could ever get Messi...

Man utd should sign lescott, ashley young and antonio valencia. Get them and look at others afterwards.

Man Utd should sign Benzema if Tevez decides to leave, as well as try to sign Ribery because Nani isn't good enough to replace Giggs. Ribery doesn't seem that happy at Munich, perhaps because he wants to play with more world class players. If not any of those two, they should try and get Kaka because he has shown interest in moving to Old Trafford.

Well i would like to see a left winger, and perhaps a clinical striker?

Ribery/Ashley Young

Not sure about the striker, any ideas?

top 3 transfers for sir alex:
-Huntelaar
--------

Sir Alex might have to be god to pull that one off, Huntelaar only moved to Madrid in January and I knew we should of signed him instead of Berbatov.

We should try offloading Berba to City.

Signing Berbatov was one of the worst decisions Fergie has made.
D.Silva coming to us? No way. He loves his club with all his heart and his dad still drives him to training.
Park=Amazing work rate/poor quality
A lot of people saying Ronaldo is goin to keep improving-- bit worrying
oh yh Foster= below average or is that too harsh?
-----------------------------

What complete nonsense

Berbatov gives us a different option and he has had a good season, short sighted fans can;t look past the price tag and expect miracles but he has added a dimension to our team and squad

how you can refer to Park as poor quality is beyond me, he is one of the most reliable players who has shown increasing levels of attacking threat despite most believing the media bilge that he is just a holding player

and yes, it is way too harsh on Foster, he hasnt had a chance yet to prove his worth, a few games here and there are good for a keeper to build confidence but you can't judge a keeper until he has a run in the team

The answer is so simple! There is no doubt that fergie is one of the greatest managers but his problem is that he doesn't know when he is wrong. The man simply got it wrong with Berbatov. Tevez contributes to the team so much more, and the only reason Fergie won't sign him is because he is too arrogant to accept that he was wrong and feels he needs to justify paying all that money for Berbatov by playing him. There is not one player in the prem who works harder, and it would be such a shame seing him play for another prem team. Sell Berba to fund Tevez. Gary Neville is past his sell by, but I'm confident Rafael can fill in permanently, the only dilemma is who to replace Giggs. I remember Rafael Van Der Vaart not being too bad, but what about Aidan McGeady? Great player, shouldn't be too expensive and seems to want our of Celtic? Are you listening Fergie?

i think huntelaar would be available this summer, with perez about to become reals president, apparently the dutch players aren't favoured too much by him and he wants to stamp his own identity on the team funded partly by sales, he also wants to change manager if reports are correct (to wenger, as if!) so theres no guarantee a new manager would see a place for huntelaar, robben, van der vaart, drenthe, van nistelrooy(!)...

not that i reckon we should actually go for huntelaar, i don't know, not really seen much of him but i reckon he could be available if someone wants him.
