Flintoff crocked, and on his way back from the IPL as we speak. Ice pack on his knee.

Oh dear...who could have predicted that, eh?

Peterson and Flintoff go on about the usual "For the country" backward nonsense so i doubt they care much.

Just ridiculous that these guys will, yet again, be favoured above players that are 100x better than these guys and 100x more reliable than them.

It's not about playing for whichever team, playing cricket is playing cricket, regardless of the team, it seems Peterson and Flintoff want to have all perks and benefits and get to choose WHAT, WHEN and WHERE they play.

Drop them both if you ask me

>>> Further, these chaps should not sell themselves to the IPL like prostitutes.

So according to you all baseball, football, basketball etc. players are prostitutes or is it just that IPL is an Indian tournament so you cant digest it. In either case you really need a brain.

Laughable. Just laughable.

Who is 100x better than Pietersen (with an i) and Flintoff? How is Pietersen unreliable? Yes he had a poor winter by his standards, but have you seen his record since his debut? He's easily our best and most consistent batsman.

Putting IPL infront of England? How so, they aren't missing any matches. Putting IPL instead of County Cricket yes, but not England.

What about Bopara, Shah, Collingwood, Mascarenhas and Napier? Going to sl ag them off? Are they money-grabbing prostitutes who don't give a damn about England? Oh wait... it's not fashionable to sl ag them off (yet), unlike with Pietersen and Flintoff.

Pietersen had a poor winter by his standards??? is it because he just averaged 49 and 58 in India and west indies.

Hehe... actually, I do think he had a good winter, despite the off-the-field incidents. However many people say he was rubbish (and tbh, he was in the Windies ODI series), which is why I said it.

Maybe KP has to be Bradman to keep some of them quiet as he failed in 3 onedayers in that series but just before that he had scored a oneday hundred in India.

He has failed to contribute in 2 oneday series and one test series since his debut in 05.

16 hundreds in 50 tests is as good as it gets and one can add the fact that he has scored over 1000 runs in test cricket in 06, 07, and 08.
