Predictions for the up-and-coming Bahrain GP. Its so tough to call this year, Brawn GP obviously the favourites or will Red Bull keep up in the dry.

1 - Alonso
2 - Button
3 - Hamilton
4 - Vettel
5 - Glock
6 - Kimi
7 - Barrichello
8 - Webber

Thats my choice, It could be very different though. I think Alonso was unlucky last weekend, without the rain I think he'd have pushed the Red Bulls.

Think Hamilton will sneak his 1st podium this weekend also.

Too bad Kimmi, your car is weak as your entire team. You could have been the successor of Mika, but you chose the path of a traitor.

1 Vettel or Barichello
2 Kovalainen or Alonso
3 Hamilton
4 Heifeld

I agree, Alonso might pull something special out of the bag this weekend. Last week with a rushed double diffuser Alonso, albeit due to his lighter weight, managed to do very well in qualifying. I reckon this week once the car is tuned, as has already been stated in this thread, he will gain possible a couple of tenths extra. He will still be slower than the Red Bulls and Brawns, but Alonso's skill and ability will more than compensate for that.

Im going for this order

1.Alonso
2.Button
3.Vettel
4.Barrichello
5.Rosberg
6.Glock
7.Hamilton
8.Webber

I have a feeling Button and Trulli will both be retiring this weekend.

Obviously, there are too many people on here making predictions based on their own personal bias and favourites. There isn't a single logical reason to believe Alonso could win this race, or that anyone, in the short time since China could have improved their cars to such an extent that they could seriously challenge Brawn or Red Bull. Raikonnen is telling it like it is, when he says catching the front runners will take time and may never happen if they progress too, which is more than likely.
Alonso only got himself close to the front in qualifying by running even lighter than Red Bull. Once he had to take on a real load of fuel, he never challenged.

Why do people think Alonso can challenge for a win? Are you mad!? He was only on the front row last weekend because of qualitfying on fumes as a transparent publicity stunt to keep people interested in Renault. I dont think he will feature much in the race other than to make up the numbers.

The Brawns will lead the way pushed by Williams and Toyota with maybe Red Bull and McLaren having a shout for some decent points.

Peronaly id like to see alonso get a win to get this season realy opening up and the ferrari pulling there weight, But facts fact Alonso has been showboating with low fuel , and ferrari need another season to get losing todd and Brawn out of there system .
