The Roof Is Ready

Wimbledon

The roof over Wimbledon is finally finished and the well publicised test event to follow in a few weeks.
What will be interesting will be if it actually gets used this year, I love the idea that tennis will carry on until 10 at night but how much will the new roof be used? and is it worth the money spent.

It has always been frustrating at Wimbledon when it rains and it will be fascinating to see what it does to the atmosphere on Centre Court.

I heard on the radio men and women get the same money now - I must have missed that! Hardly seems fair seeing as the men do 5/3 times more work...

I think its lovely and still looks nice and light and airy, doesn't seem to affect the atmosphere either, but with the roof open is surely the nicest, lets hope there won't be too many rain delays.
