Re: Sir Whisky Face, he is cracking up, first he fields a side against Everton that was too weak, and disrespected the competition in so doing- and hypocrytically accuses Rafa of being disrespectful! He is basically worried as he knows they could end up with just two trophies, the league cup and some world club trophy that is worthless. He knows we are going to win the league and Barcelona or Arsenal will win the CL so he'll try any old trick to think that he might get some psychological edge over Rafa. He's lost these mind games. I disagreed with all the "Ranta" rubbish at the time of the dossier- Rafa didn't at any point lose it - he was 100% right about what he said about Ferguson.

Good news about King Kenny returning it can only be a postitive move.
He's still a legend and will be well regarded in the youth set up and around the club full stop.

Squeaky Bum is so worried that LFC is going to win the title this season. This will move the goalpost further and he will not overhaul LFC record of winning titles.

Alas, he will retire... to a bottle of cheap whisky as he could not pass LFC record.

Benitez will be around for a lot longer than Ferguson - Enjoy looking at your Milk Cup coz the CL is going to Barca the FA Cup to Stamford Bridge and the big SHIP is docking in Merseyside. World Club Cup? Who hasn't won that? Bye bye Ferguson Bye bye Ronaldo - wot you left with?

yikes

"Fergie took a risk in the least important competition (nothing to do with the oppostition so it wasn't disrespecting Everton) with a competent reserve side."

Load of bull. At the semi-final stage you put out a very strong team, otherwise you might as well go out in the 3rd or 4th round. He wouldn't have done that against a BIG club!!

Who hasn't won it? Well Liverpool gave it a good go in 2005 didn't they, but they lost to Sao Paulo 1 - 0 in the final. Yet again Man Utd succeeded where Liverpool failed. Just like in the entire history of the Premier League.

Yyour paragraph above is based on guesswork, not facts or reasonable analysis.
