Daley and Mitcham set for Sheffield duel

comment on the article

Tom Daley is coming into the third round of the Diving World Series in Sheffield on the back of a PB performance in Changzhou.

The Plymouth teenager grabbed bronze in that event and will be looking to finish ahead of Olympic champion Matthew Mitcham once more.

With the backing of the crowd will he get amongst the medals once more? Or will Mitcham return to form to spoil his homecoming?

I'm a little late commenting because my internet has been down!

I was at Sheffield, my first live diving event, and it was an amazing experience. Tom produced another PB and won Silver splitting the two Chinese divers and beating the Olympic Champion in an exciting final.

I would laugh so hard if when Max Brick was about to dive from a tall platform, the commentator said, "it looks like he is bricking it up there"...
