"Kris Chesney is set to make his final appearance as a Saracens player at Vicarage Road on Sunday before heading to France to join Toulon next season.

After 14 years and 337 games representing Sarries, Chesney will make his last home appearance when Leicester Tigers visit Watford in the Guinness Premiership, kick off 3pm.

Chesney is the club's most capped player in the professional era but the 35-year-old explained he felt the time was right for a new challenge and is excited about the prospect of testing himself in France.

Citing last year's Heineken Cup clashes against Munster and the Ospreys last season as some of the highlights of his Sarries career, the second row is also hoping to go out on a high note with the club through to the semi-finals of the European Challenge Cup next month."

A true Saracen through and through Ches always gave his all and thats why he's played 337 times for saracens going from wing to second row.

I wish you all the best at Toulon Ches, you can show all those money grabbing rugby players at Toulon how to really play!!

Yup just seen it on the website. He'll get a huge ovation on Sunday and he'll fully deserve it for all of his years of service. 14 years and 337 games is simply unbelieveable, and he deserves a year or two in France to boost his pension.

He was a superb flanker in the early 2000's, when Saracens were considered of having a chance to go for the title, but it wasn't to be. Unfortunately recently, his years have caught up with him, and hes spent a lot of time being an understudy used as an impact subsititute. I did feel he gave away too many penalties over the years, but hes always been a magnificent tackler and ball-carrier. I wouldn't want to think the amount of fights hes started over the years! Good luck to him in the near future.

It's a shame we don't know the names of other players leaving, as they won't get the ovation most of them will deservce. 3 players out of the 15 gone in Visagie, Farrell and Chesney, should be interesting to see what the other names are.
