17-year-old debutant Federico Macheda. Yet another foreign player coming up through the "English" Premiership. England will never be a international force again so long as your top clubs don't pick English players, how many local lads play for the team that is from the area they grew up?
Having nothing but foriegn talent is not good for English Soccer long term but you guys will do nothing about it yet praise Alex for bringing another one through. Really fellas address the problem before it far to late.

Nothing significant??? Mourinho was with a club like FC Porto and he won them the CL. And then he came to Chelsea made them more popular, won them trophies (including 2 Premier Leagues) and now is on his way to win the title for Inter! And you say he did nothing significant???

Mourinho has at least wona big trophy with a small club.

Alex Ferguson has won with money. And a lot of it too. He's stayed with one club because he knows he'd be found out if he tried to turn another club into world beaters.

mourinho is a far better manager, and time will show that.

The Beatles once claimed that they were bigger than Jesus, Jose said that he was christ too, but SAF is the one who can change a potential loss into a season defining win. Jose may be the special one, but SAF is God!!! His church is Old Trafford. and he has 330 million followers, thats more than Jesus ever had.

.....you are talking out of your ass.

Oh that was the goal of the week or even goal of the month, and it came from the most unlikely source, the most critical moment, unbelievable fashion and from debutant, Federico Macheda.Being a united fan and hungry for consecutive premiership trophy,I was totally breathless at the time of scoring that beautiful goal.
This could be a turning point for United, and even boost my confidence to secure another successful season for United.

"Alex Ferguson has won with money. And a lot of it too."

When I hear people say that it makes me think what fools they really are. Fergie has built united from a team that won nothing, into the best team in the world. The money he has spent is the money he has won in winning tournaments and attracting sponsorship deals, which the most sucessful clubs do. Think before you speak. When jose builds a small team into the biggest club in the world, then maybe he will be able to be mentioned in the same breath as fergie.

Aberdeen won the Cup winners cup.
Not the UEFA cup.
and they beat Real Madrid to do it in the final.

Fine, I was wrong but to be pedantic, the CWC was merged into the same competition.

Main point however is that he did win a big trophy with a littloe team.
