comment on the article

fresh of the heels of a great grand prix in 0z i wonder who has the edge going to malayasia?
Weather is unpredictable in malayasia so its anyones game.
most likely brawn will be quick but what about the others ferrari BMW red bull etc.
I think ferrari will be back but i have a feeling vettel will win.
Thoughts? :)

I'm so glad Jenson won this race. Everyone says he lacks the cutting edge to win grand prix's but i've always said if you put him in a topcar he'll win races. I'm glad to see he's proved me right by winning in the Brawn car which, to everyone's disbelief, is a top car this year.

Even if Vettel did nothing wrong, by apologising so profusely to all and sundry he has made it appear that he has.

Eazzyy, why does someone have to do something to you personally for you to dislike them. Does that mean he would have to do something nice to you personally for you to like them? We had better stop supporting sports stars who we'll never meet in that case. Or only support them after we meet them and find them to be nice to us.

If it is a wet Race I still think Button will do the job, in the past he has been good in wet conditions. I hope that this year Lewis will toil and earn the respect of those who dislike him. I like him and agree that he should keep his trap shut. For some reason and I dont know why I find his Dad uncomfortable to watch/listen to.

Lewis lacks the impish appeal of Button but I think Lewis is a winner through and through.

Come on Jenson, I hope you make it two out of two.

I believe Vettel was punished for driving 2 laps of the race with his wheel hanging off as opposed to the accident itself.

I wouldn't say that Hamilton compares himself to Senna as much as idolises him and aspires to be like him, a pretty good target for a driver in my opinion. As for being arrogant this is an individual sport, the best drivers/boxers/golfers etc. have to believe they are the best or they will never win anything. If this is arrogance rather than self belief then fair enough, I'd take an arrogant Hamilton over any other driver in the field at the moment.

Arrogant is a term that people use if they cannot get tyheir head around what is perceived to be someones attitude. Hamilton has self belief-you would probably need to know him personally to be able to describe him as arrogant-aloof maybe but not arrogant. And he did well but it was Buttons turn in the limelight which is good too.

If memory serves, Malaysia has been a good hunting ground for Ferrari in recent years.

However, unless they're able to make some serious improvements, I don't see anything beyond some points for them.

Not exactly inspired guesswork, but I'll go for a 3-way battle between Brawn, Red Bull and Sauber again.

Perhaps Williams will be in the mix too if they can qualify well and do better with their tyre choices. They need to ditch that accident-prone Nakajima though!

To Nando05
looking at this weather forecast there is a very good chance it will rain with a thunderstorm thrown in for good measure.

Good GP. Just what the FIA/F1 hierarchy wanted. The so-called small teams stolen a march on the big boys. Trouble now is how Bernie and Max can legally stop Ferrari/McClaren/Renault/BMW from building their own Double Diffusers. One suspects when they do, the old order will be quickly restored. Do I see Rule changes in the air: No Major Modification of cars allowed during the Season.

Ellomate737, thanks for your answer. But i am sure you will find it hard to find evidence of where he compared himself to senna. He idolises Senna - yes, He wants to emulate -yes. Nothing wrong in these. I never heard him say, i am the new Senna or the like. And one have to take note of the fact that if he says one thing, it will be multiplied hundred times by the press that wants to sell. That's not his fault. Some don't like his father because TV companies showed his face too often, now on Sunday, i got to know Button's father. If Button keeps the good performance, his fathers face will keep appearing more often on TV. Would the Hamilton father's haters turn their hatred toward Button's father?

merrySmickers, you don't have to know someone personally to like or dislike, but this forum is not about who you like and don't like, its about formula1 racing. You may support or not support a driver/team. You can be a fan of this or that. You can't imagine the amount and depth of hatred on this forum about this or that driver. Lets just enjoy the race and have fun. I always wish the driver i support wins, but i have nothing but respect for other drivers. They are putting their lives at risk so we can have something to chat about on forums(their earnings notwithstanding).
