Tomorrow Night

Manchester United
comment on the article

Man Utd fans have been saying that we cannot afford to lose tomorrow night. Obviously we don't want to drop any unneccesary points, but we have TWO games in hand. This puts us in an excellent position.

In my opinion, it is unlikely we will lose tomorrow. At minimum, I would at least expect a draw, but I think we will get a result tomorrow. This puts us 7 points clear with a game in hand. 7 points is a reasonable margin, and if we beat Portsmouth, at home where we have only dropped 2 points if I am correct, then we will be 10 points clear.

Realistically then, we can afford to lose tomorrow, with the knowledge that if we win our game in hand then we shall be 7 points clear anyway. However, I sincerely hope we do win tomorrow to keep the nerves down to a minimum!

If Livepool can get results against Man U, then we might see the fall of an empire. As by that time Inter will have eliminated them, then they will continue confused until the end of the season. Otherwise, if Liverpool, Aston villa and Arsenal fail to get results against Man U, then the season is over and boring.

Re: torrerising (U10941419)

why was manu fans going on and on about liverpool won the CL and FA on penalities. when liverpool wins on penalties...not good enough...lucky...bla bla. and when manu win...big achievement!!!!!!!!!!!!

=====================================

You obviously donít understand the concept of a football rivalry do you? Basically it works like this: Everything your team does is brilliant. Everything your rivals do is cr.ap. No exceptions ever and under no circumstances must you ever apply fairness, reason or logic.

So using this criteria it seems blatantly obvious to me that when Man Utd win on penalties itís because theyíre the greatest team in the world and when Liverpool win on penalties itís because theyíre a rabble of flukey scouse chancers.

Hope thatís cleared things up for you. ;-)

I think its inevitable that Man U will win the league again... but as a chelsea fan, its hurts to say it... but they deserve it!!! liverpool are falling apart now like we did a while ago, but its too late for any team to realistically catch up with them. but as people keeps saying, stranger things have happened! if we keep winning, and man u slip up a few then we do have a chance i guess... but im not holding my breath!!! focus on the champions league and F.A cup, and hope that next season we can do better.

Well Manu will no doubt win the EPL this year, even when we beat them & Villa beat them, they will still be a game in hand and 1 point ahead.

And when you have teams like Fulham & now Newcastle, who look like they are getting paid to be easily turned over by United, look at what happened last night for instance.
If the Newcastle defender had just left the ball, it would have bounced out, instead he cushions it into the United strikers path - Unbelievable.

its our (man u)title to lose but if ALL the teams still2face us adopt a devil-may-care/cuptie mentality and really have a go then we may get some strange results !! However the same can be said4those teams that are facing lfc and chelsea too I think we will have more than enough and the score will be 18-18 with lfc which will really upset them !!

Let me reiterate the obvious.
Man United will not win the PL.
Luck and Ref can you get so far.
Man United have been punching above their weight and just little below Roonyís weight.
They have been lucky and had plenty of helping hand from refs. All of this will come to an end.
United wonít beat Newcastle, Wigan, Sunderland, Liverpool, Spurs, and will lose to Arsenal and Boro. They will probably win at home against Portsmouth and Villa and at Hull. 76 points is all the can hope for may be good enough for 4th.

Donít ask me for Lottery numbers you gambling dimwits

are you a total WUM, oh yea united beat newcastle got that wrong, what planet are you on man utd have won the league for the past 2 years idiot. oh yea we have won back to back titles and a european cup something wengers ladies have never done, donít call the kettle black look at your average arsenal they were punching above their weight for years and when more competition comes along wengers ladies fall flat on their backs. Donít question a side that wins trophies when your side have no clue what it is like to win a European cup and a league title. You donít punch above your weight when united have ronaldo rooney ferdinand vidic evra giggs scholes. Man utd are the tiger woodsí off football, they know the business inside and out and they own the blueprints on how to win championships. Until your lot knows this keep your mouth shut, champions are united of 99 and 2008 sides, who can defend their titles and win the European cup is well, chumps are the arsenal side of 2004, they have a one season wonder that they could not defend their title and go into Europe and fall flat on their backsides.

Orangechelseafan. I know that we get some real illiterates on this site (mainly scousers and cockneys), but your failed attempt to spell the word 'achievement' correctly really does take the biscuit. "Acheive mentt"! You really are a sad case. Just that one word contains 3 (yes, three) errors.

pot and kettle springs to mind. last week YOU didn't even know the difference between present perfect and present simple.
the problem with "people" like you is that you are inferior to most other members of society, and to make yourself feel better, you have to try and belittle, mock and taunt far superior beings. pathetic.

"Belittle, mock and taunt far superior beings"

LMAO!
Loves it. What more can you say? Chasney, you truly are another being, and superior (in most ways) to the average parrot.

Keep the laughs coming my friend, you are truly priceless.

An Inferior Being.
