Chelsea

comment on the article

Chelsea have ruled out selling captain John Terry after revealing Manchester City made a bid for the England defender late in 2008.

The 28-year-old central defender's current contract runs until 2012.

What do you think about Manchester City trying to sign the Chelsea captain?

cant belive for minute he (like any other player that plays CL and almost guranrteed it) would got to a team who may not even be in Europe - If hes goignto play for England its in his intrest and the supporters to be at a club who is in the CL most years to play agisnt the best -

unless of course he needs the money to fuel .... no i wont say it im sure he passed that now.

Lampard could be there soon - i hear he likes playing away from home

terry would die for chelsea, the fans worship the ground he walks on. There is no way he would move, they might say everyone has a price, but Terry would never leave chelsea

If he left, Roman would have to sell up and Kenyon would have to move to another country because us fans would go absolutely balistic! That would be the equivalent of Man Utd sacking Fergie or Barcelona selling Messi or Gerrard and Carragher moving on in a swap deal for Titus Bramble!!!

You can't blame City for trying, both Chelsea and Man U have enticed players away by waving large amounts of cash under their noses. Just so long as he does'nt actually take it!

Terry should not be over-emphasized! Sell him - to be honest, he ain't so-called great. There are better alternatives.

At last, a chelsea fan that wants him gone but, we don't want the donkey either, keep him the smug lampard & the other defender cole, who thinks he's a winger/striker, seen him & jt make mistakes in the same match, cole dosn't make it back to defend. wouldn't have any of them playing for England.
