Hey, Merry Christmas everyone....hold on, the snow must have confused me.

The reason why I'm massively excited this morning is because it is transfer deadline day.

And what a start to the day, listening to a man in a white van just outside my flat spending several hours in the middle of the night trying to move out of his parking space.

Face it, my friend, it just isn't moving no matter how hard and for how long you rev the vehicle.

Now, the reason I love transfer deadline day is because it is one of the few footballing days of the years that is all about the journey, not the destination.

Football is a results business, but on TDD nothing captures the imagination like all the rumour and speculation, wondering just whether Robbie Keane will move back to Tottenham from Liverpool. I wonder how many people will mistakenly spot him arriving at some Ł45 a night hotel today?

Or if Man City will break the bank to sign some superstar (not had much luck so far. It's fun isn't it - unless you are actually trying to sign someone with the clock ticking down.

And today all the last-minute chaos has been given a whole new dimension because of the snow. Wicked.

i have to say that i would support dogs all the way, but that i would always have the feeling that they would be out classed by the wolves. however i have to ask would a wolf beat a completely fictitious character like the ones from ancient greece? actually i'd be quite interested to watch a wolf versus a lion, who would win in that fight?

Look, I am Wolves-till-I-die but I have to admit a Lion would destroy a Wolf.

How about a Lion versus a Minotaur?

A minotaur would be able to beat a lion. It ate people alive... it's rare lions eat people- some people claim that it is just myths that any lions eat people.

So I'd have to go with the minotaur.

No myth lions do eat people, was one of those channel 5 type documentaries "when lions turn bad" or something like that.
