If as expected that Kevin Nolan leaves tomorrow i wish him all the best and thanks for the last 10 years service he has given Bolton....yes over the last 2 years he's not been the same player as previous seasons but he has always given 100% and been a true pro for Bolton and helped us massively at the begging of our glory days under Big Sam. I don't care what anyone says he has been brilliant for Bolton on the field and off the field i know he loves Bolton to bits and will be gutted to leave us, i remember seeing him earlier in the season and talking to him and he was saying how much he couldn't wait to play Blackburn and finally get on the score sheet again and beat them. Personally i will be gutted if he leaves but also think it could be a good deal for both as i think he needs a new challenge and if and thats a big IF we use the money and get Veloso. I just hope we do have someone lined up to sign straight away else we are really going struggle other wise. Any way like i said earlier good luck and thank you so much Kevin you have been brilliant, all the best for the future!!

He's a lot younger than I thought, 4 mil is a bargain I'ld say. Proven Prem player...N'Zogbia for 7.5?!

I always imagined Nolan being a one club man for his career. I expect he felt the 4million fee was a bit of a slap in the face after all he had done for the club.

I can't blame him for leaving after that, but he's a player that probably deserved a move up not sideways.

The media are so strange!

KN posted sorry to leave etc. etc. comments in your local press yet in ours he's quoted as saying "this was an opportunity not to miss and as soon as i was notified of NUFC's interest their was no hesitation in signing".

As always the press sucks!

Bolton should've taken the 8mil that lpool offered a few years ago; 4mil seems like a steal given some of the other prices that are being paid and he's probably just the player newcastle need; Nolan and Butt in the centre of midfield is some pairing.
Not sure where Bolton go from here...aside from Jaskilinen and Davies the whole backbone of Allardyce's side has been sold off..They never should've got rid of Campo...

"Newcastle are massively supported and, if they can get things right in the next couple of years, they can definitely be back up there challenging the top four."

Ohh, My, God.

How many times do i need to hear this from Newcastle fans/players before they understand that they will never be back up there!?

Blah blah blah Newcastle is a massive club, blah blah.

I hope to god that they get relegated.

I just like to say thank you Kevin and best of luck but I just don't think I could ever forgive Bolton Wanderers for doing your trasfer behind your back it really feels that you have been betrayed and also the fans have also been betrayed because nobody knew anything about it apart from Gary and the board. I am going to miss you, if the club loved you, they would have reunited with you with Sam Allardyce.

Nolan is a great signing for you and i'm almost sure 99% of Bolton fans would of been gutted. More will be calling for Megsons head now.

Also Ryan Taylor is a great capture, i think he's very under-rated (only taken notice of when taking a free kick).

He a talented hungry English player and you know he will give his all, which is more than what i have seen from N'zogbia.

Not world changing signings but definately quality and reliable. I don't think either player will let the club down.

The most loyal player Wanderers have had in years, and a major reason we're still in the Premiership. Good luck Kev, maybe we'll get you back in a couple of years, and Big Sam too. Live in hope.
