FA Cup
comment on the article

Hi. Happy FA Cup fourth round day. Hope you're as excited as I am.

There are some belting ties to look forward to today, some real chances for lower league teams to get themselves involved in a cupset.

Hartlepool kick us off at home to West Ham, Doncaster host Aston Villa, Kettering welcome Fulham to Rockingham Road and Torquay entertain Coventry at Plainmoor.

There are a couple of all-Premier League games as well. Follow it all here...

Just get involved. Get involved. Involved.

Messi scores again. Great cross from Iniesta, brilliant work from Eto'o and as usual Messi just walks it into the net.

I think it is safe to call this Barca side the Juggernauts. August seem so far away for this Numancia side.

Messi breaks throught, one on one, chance to seal his hattrick, chips the keeper and...hits the post.

the amount of chances that barca have created is simply mindblowing, and to think that this isone of their more profligate nights in front of goal. <yikes>

So - did Numancia beat Barcelona at the end?

They looked the stronger team on paper for sure.

Who is the Messi guy at Barca though? Seems useful..

It was 4-1 at the end, Barca could have 7 if it wasn't for Eto'o's (did I just use 2 apostrophes in the same word?) profligacy. If you look at Barca's strengths you can also expose their weaknesses. For instance they overload their attack - meaning they're vulnerable to quick counters. Most of their creativity comes from the right-sided Alves+Messi combination, so opposition can focus more on that side leaving Iniesta + Abidal on the left (Iniesta is amazing but Abidal offers zero going forward).

Barca, could have had more than 7, it should have been something like 10-2.

Herny, Fto'o and Messi should have all had Hatricks and Xavi should have scored.
