Phew, glad to hear Sir Alex confirm that Anderson did not suffer a break but got ligament damage, should be back around 3 weeks, like Rooney and the majority of our squad lol...

Nani will be out for a week ( tragic eh ) :D jk

Im more worried about Evan's being out for 3 weeks though, man, I just put him in my Fantasy Football squad lol, so now he'll have to be sidelined. Losing others like Park, Evra, Rafael and the other current injuries like Wes, Rio and Wayne are gonna really stretch our squad and I think February will be the toughest month yet...

Luckily for us, we can field our experienced mid-field in defence so it should be interesting, lets hope the list does not continue to build up, last thing we need are rash purchases and I hope our reserve youth squad are able to adapt quickly...

So our strongest squad imo would be this...

VDS

Fletcher Vidic Neville O'Shea

Ronaldo Carrick Scholes Giggs

Tevez Berbatov

Pole
Chester
Tosic
Fabio
Possebon
Gibson
Welbeck

Christ, we lose anymore and we are really down to bare-bones...

and freaky enough, we could have our entire squad bar long term injury Hargreaves by the end of February if we can ride out this storm of a month...

Spurs (FA CUP)
West Brom (PL)
Everton (PL)
West Ham (PL)
Fulham (PL)
Blackburn Rovers (PL)

INTER MILAN (CL - remember no Vidic as he's suspended )

yep, you don't beat chelsea in a cup final, remain unbeaten against top 4 sides in 12 games (cup and league)and beat liverpool and arsenal pretty convincingly and say spurs will be easy tomorrow.

Didn't Spurs get beaten by Villa (a top 4 side) in September?

Well, if Harry does pick a weakened team tomorrow, then United will be heavy favourites. Lets be honest, Spurs first team is only not bottom due to goal difference so how bad must your reserves be if they can't get in a team that's joint bottom?

Rooney is worth 100 Andersons / Evans.
He's the only one the matters from this lot

If there was ever a good time for a blip/some injuries, now seems ManU's best time to have them (judging by the fixture list). Most of the PL matches you'd except to gain 3 points (barring the Everton & Blackburn matches, which may prove trickier)

Should have a near full strength squad back for the CL matches (except the long term absentees), which is when the business for you guys really heats up. Got the experience in abundance for the end of season matches.

Wow... we're top of another league table... injuries. Newcastle are 2nd at something... injuries, and West Brom complete the top 3.

Well they say bad form and injuries/suspensions are a test of character for a title contending team. Lets see what these lads have!

In all seriousness though, we seem kinda rogered in defence now. Rio, Rafael, Evans, Brown and Evra out. Bar Vidic (that fudgin' hero), that's arguably our starting back four out until AT LEAST 2nd February!

Injuries can recur, it doesn't mean that if players got injured at the beginning of the season or at the middle, then one would be free of them at the end. The way some of the manU fans think, belittles their way of thinking. If anymore of your star players get injured on saturday, names of which I choose to reserve, then you will know what other teams have lately been going through.

Chelsea went through this for the past two seasons, United's injuries aren't as long term but they may affect confidence.

Well we beat Spurs with a reserve team left back and right back playing some part of the game, so that's reassuring that we still have a squad (not necessarily first team) that can pull a win out of the bag.
