If chelsea get back to winning again then its between the top 3( man u, liverpool, chelsea) I cant see arsenal winning it. Aston villa have a good team and with a few extra players could contend for it next season.

Does anyone agree that LFC's defence as of late looks really shaky. I would be really concerned if we were paying a flair team right now. I honestly think they could get pulled apart at the back. There is no pace at the back. Skrtel is giving the ball away for fun. I have never been a huge fan of Aurelio. The only one is Carragher who is also not the fastest.

I know it has been said, but Benitez is making some really poor decisions. They have already been mentioned a million times. The last 2 LFC games have really put me on a downer. They don't look cohesive at all. The only bright spot last night was the Gerrard goal and Torres performance other than the bad miss. He looked pretty good for someone who has been out fpor so long. Robbie Keane looks like an amatuer next to him. He looks like a lost boy out there. I feel sorry for him. I think he will be gone in the summer.

Having said all that, the league is not over by a long shot. Hopefuly we can find some form soon.

Can't come quick enough. Will you still be in the race by then though?

You must be fearing the worst on that day. If not, where is your confidence at getting a result at OT stemming from????

A fair result last night, and sets up the weekend nicely. Liverpool will want revenge and so playing them on Sunday just adds to the spice whilst Everton will have no fear and a late goal to draw the game is almost as good as a win.

I think unless Liverpool and Chelsea pick up there form they wont finish in the automatic Champions League spaces. Aston Villa could be the surprise beneficiary of the season.

Liverpool deserves to lose that game not draw. most of the players were not in the game. Keane bare touched the ball throught out the march. Aside the goal that Gerrard scored he was very poor too.

i think benitez should have replaced keane for lucas earlier in the second half and move gerrard upfront. He is better there this days than in the middle with alonzo.

This season liverpool has been mavelous in the attcking pattern. its always a beauty to watch. but that was not there in their last 2 games. I believe what will hinder liverpool this season like every other season is more of benitez decisions than the players performance. You guys have terrorist as players. Riera, Babel, Torres, Gerrard, Kuyt. I can steal the first three from liverpool if given the chance

Though I Know liverpool will not win the tittle this season. they will end up 4th this season. that still remains my prediction.

was mascherano injured yesterday, i would have thought he'd start if fit or at least come on instead of lucas. not that it would have necessarily stopped the goal with benayoun giving away the free kick and mascherano being nothing to write home about in the air.

i thought at the start of the season liverpool would finish third, theres not much to choose between them and chelsea at the moment although chelsea's come back against stoke is the kind of thing you need to pull off to win titles. thats not to do liverpool down but as a utd supporter i will always back us for the title.

united have to cope without rooney for a couple more weeks, drogba's not all there in the head and keane is anonymous while torres not back to top form yet.

this season has been characterised by the top teams not being as free-scoring as we imagined they would, with many teams upping their games when playing them. i think the standard of football has been excellent this year, very competitive and its looking like a solid defence could hold the key to the title.

failure to beat wigan away next game and liverpools momentum and confidence will be hard to get back, although a win against chelsea would be a good way to get it back.

the liverpool v chelsea game is massive, absolutely massive.

may the best team win the title, whoever it is.

I can'y believe even utd supporters are coming on here and saying that you shower still have a chance. I've new from the start of the season that you's would finish 3rd, 4th or 5th. Come on lets get real liverpool simply are not good enough with a clown as a manager. As long as you keep him though I'll be happy. Long live raffa. :D
