I disagree with the last one. Carlton COle is on fire! 4 goals in 4! he has really improved. Unlike Z-man.

I think it will be a good game. But overall i think we have a better team and will win 3-2 goalfest!

"Carlton COle is on fire! 4 goals in 4! he has really improved. Unlike Z-man."

So your saying Cole is better than Zamora? Not a chance!

Cole has still got a big point to prove as he has previously missed could chances that could have won us the game (i.e Chelsea away)!

Has he ever scored more than one goal in a game?

I agree with iron_matt
In the past Zamora has obviously been better but recent form proves Coley has deffinatly been the best of the 2, and will prove it in this match.
He has improved so much since last year, where Zamora's form has declined.
5 goals in 5 for Carlton!

Don't rate any of their players over ours. Not saying they do not have good players but I would not want any of their players unless Bullard wants to warm our bench.

We wouldn't have sold Pantsil and Zamora if they were better than Cole and Neill. So that's stupid straight away.

We have a better team on paper, but Fulham defend deep and aren't afraid of parking the bus these days under Hodgson. If we don't break them down early it could be a long afternoon.

Then comes the worry of Zamora pulling something out of the hat or something from a set piece.

IronJL - of course Cole is a better player than the Z man.

Z man last year 1 in 12, (Cole 6 in 25) the year before 11 in 30 (Cole 3 from 8)

This year Z man 1 in 17, (Cole 8 from 20) - playing in a team ABOVE us in the league (tho' not for long I hope).

More importantly, Cole is clearly still developing and improving, whereas with the Z man what you see is what you get - a lot of effort, but very little in terms of EPL goals. You think Cole misses chances, take a look at almost any of Bobby's performances for us in the EPL, or watch any of Fulham's games.

All strikers miss chances - Kuyt didn't score for 10 months at Liverpool - is Z man better than him?

ironJL, you post two half reasonable articles, which don't blame the woes of the world on Alan Curbishley, then tell us all that it's time to stop calling you a spud wum. Cole's scored 4 goals in 4 games, that's twice the improvement you've shown. It's a shame you don't give our own players the same respect that you demand for yourself!

on paper, we certainly do have the better players. But Hodgson has got fulham well drilled. And like wistahm said, they are not afraid of parking the bus away from home. Johnson has pace, which we don't at the back so they will be a threat on the counter. Hopefully we will try and encourage them to come at us a little to open the game up, as i doubt we can break them down otherwise.

On the cole/zamora debate - Cole is on fire, Zamora has not really done much at fulham, but we all know he can turn it on some days and is a real danger. Right now, i'd have Cole in my team above zamora, as i think he is still a developing talent.

looking forward to this one, we are on song and Fulham are much improved this year, far more solid, i think we'll edge a close game 2-1 and leapfrog above them!
