toonarmyscott (U13804926) posted Jan 30, 2009 I am really pleased to hear reports of Beckham doing well at Milan. He never should have gone to America in the first place and I really hope he makes his Milan move a permanent fixture. I can't believe people still doubt Beckham's talents after all that he has done for football, he is probably the best footballing role model around

5TournamentFloplegend (U9382776) posted Jan 30, 2009 well done twinklebathat,in our sport you need to perform and prove yourself for entire seasons and for whole tournaments to be regarded as a "great player".That is not the same as scoring an annual free-kick to absurd over praise by clowns like you wihtout one iota of knowledge on our sport whatsoever then fading into obscurity which is what beckham did at madrid-and is what will happen at milan.Mark the words of someone whos predicted Beckhams story at every turn.

Luke4united (U10700486) posted Jan 30, 2009 beckham has still got his gift of football, i hope he stays there for years now. the italian game can keep him going till 38+ e.g. maldini, cafu. and he is the only english international since the early 90's to have succeeded in europe.
