Can it be Federer's year??by mozzman88 (U13743588) 12 January 2009  Federer could step up and dominate the slams and masters but it is looking increasingly unlikely. I am desperate for Federer to dominate this year like he has in past years and halt the murray bandwagon. I still believe he will find a higher level to compete in the slams and masters tournaments but does he have the drive and ability to go out and regain his number 1 spot and bring home 3 slams this year??? i would love it if he did! Catalan Power (U13476863) posted Jan 15, 2009 Murray is 100% Scottish and so he feels, period. English press and English fans supporting him as "one of their own players" is just ridiculous. The only reason they want to consider him as one of theirs is that England has not a single relatively good player to care about and to sell news and tv time with. Murray is a Brit as well as he's European or whatever else he is. So Hungarians, Finns and Italians should also support him cause he's European?
