Villa fan in peace

Firstly thanks to Stefan for making an article earlier i owe you mate!

I am in the proceeds of setting this up. I have all the contacts to send letters to villa, blues, west brom, walsall and wolves.

I don't know how many people listened to my interview last wednesday on BBC WM regarding the kidney appeal. I was born with chronic renal failure and am partially sighted can only see straight through my left eye.

Chronic Renal failure is a condition that affected the functions of both my kidneys. I had a unsuccessful transplant when i was 1 and i am 20 now and had to go on Dialysis for 7 years to help keep me alive. I was fortunate to have a successful kidney operation in September 1997. I am the quickest person out of hospital after this kind of transplant after coming out in 5 days when i was meant to be in for at least 6 weeks.

Now as some of you are aware i am planning on running around the pitch at half time of the 5 clubs mentioned in the the midlands and am looking to raise 10,000 pounds towards this great appeal.

Birmingham Childrens Hospital are building a new renal unit so children can be in a more relaxed and modern atmosphere whilst undergoing treatment.

I am sending the letters out tomorrow so hope to have a response by the end of the week.

I am also considering sending a letter to Liverpool as Rafa Benetez is having problems with a kidney stone and see if i can run round the pitch at half time when they play us at Anfield.

Despite my problems i am a determined lad and have recently organised the villa side as part of the 606 cup in Nottingham in February. When everything is sorted i will be setting up a website for online donations to try and get as near to my target as possible.

BBC WM are right behind me and will be publisising my event and hope they will put a link to my website on their main page.

I don't know how to set this up on other teams board but will probably copy and paste it to each of the midlands club boards and liverpools and maybe others.

I have contacted Portsmouth and they have denied me the chance because of a risk of a portsmouth fan attacking me!! how crazy is that excuse because of me doing it in a villa shirt and even though i said i would wear the kidney appeal t shirt he said it's still a risk.

But i am forwarding on my details and I will be holding a collection hopefully outside the away turnstyles before the game commences!!

It appears our Mr. Stone is an ex-police officer.
He seems to be stuck in a time warp, 1982 possibly?
anyway the club are now aware of it, and "looking into it"

George,

Our MR Stone did thirty years in the Police, finishing in Portsmouth as a Chief Inspector according to the website. Hopefully he'll see sense.......

Luke just read the article mate. Amazing story pal and one thats close to home for me. My dad is a dialysis patient at the moment and is also waiting for a transplant.

Its a great idea mate - renal failure is a subject that many have no idea about until they or someone they know is affected.

Shame about Pompey but I'm sure many clubs would be willing to show you support to do this and I will definitely be donating once the site is up ok.
