UselessPremier League Chelsea by SJDG43 (U6696503) 12 January 2009 Just as I had predicted in every respect and it sickens me as much as any CFC longstanding fan. Utd were superior in every area and Jose would be forgiven for thinking that it was his old CFC he was watching in red. CFC were weak in every area except Cech and Ashley Cole worked hard. NOt much more to be said bar that from now on it is downhill all the way. Scolari ought to be history but won;t as we will have to put up with him for the rest of the season. The players however appear to have given up on him and only the vaguest sense of professionalism prevailed at the end though several of them were almost laughing - Drogba for example. Terry and Lamps may well be tempted away by Jose now. And Roman well I think he may sell up soon. Latest 10 commentsRead members' comments or add your own

BLUE_SHOT14 (U8448155) posted Jan 12, 2009 Drogba can go and join Mourinho at Inter now because when it's not going his way he couldn't give a monkeys about this club. Red carded in the CL final, which ultimately lost us the match in my opinion. Drogba can go, Anelka is playing much better than him this season yet he was left on bench. Avram Grant was managing the team better than Scolari is at the moment.

cheally (U9723109) posted Jan 12, 2009 It's a pity Abramovic has lost it! Scolari should be shown the door. This Chelsea squad are a complete embarassment to the team Jose built. What a shame! No sense of urgency, no fighting spirit, no cohesion! They allowed Man Utd expose them like a championship team. Michael Essien should be reinstated as soon as he's ready to play. In short, Chelsea had better forget about this season. They are a load of rubbish and overated stars. Send Scolari packing now! Mikel Obi is an attacking midfielder, not a defensive midfielder! When is Chelsea going to get it? Chelsea should go ahead and sign Oguchi Onyewu right away from Standard Liege. The US defender will help save Chelsea from all the embarassment of not being able to head or clear aerial crosses in front of goal. Drogba has already stated that his mind is not here. Let him go! Period! You cannot get the best out of a player who doesn't want to be here. Again, if Abramovic is a good businessman and club owner, now is the time to let Scolari go. Enough of the embarassment. Imagine Arsenal, Liverpool, and Man Utd beating the hell out of Chelsea. What a pity!!!!

end2endgame (U12981753) posted Jan 12, 2009 After watching yesterday's match, it's apparent that something is not right at the bridge right now. There was something missing from Chelsea yesterday. Where was the usual 'Chelsea resilience' and fighting spirit?? matches between us and United are usually always tight affairs but Man Utd were all over Chelsea in the second half. The game became so one sided it was embarassing. God knows what Mourinho must have been thinking....'this isn't the Chelsea I left'...and....'United look even more awesome than usual - my Inter side are gonna have their work cut out to contain them'...or something along those lines. Can't remember the last time we lost so comprehensively to Utd.

Anelka looks better right now but is not a reliable goalscorer. posted Jan 12, 2009 I want say two things. Richard (U5494855) posted Jan 14, 2009 One name I haven't seen mentioned on here at all: Steve Clarke. Has he been a loss? Also, if Roman were to pull out, might that not result in Chelsea fielding a team of players who actually want to wear the shirt rather than just coin it in?

emekanebo (U13780207) posted Jan 14, 2009 All hope is not lost yet. chalsea fc has about seventeen more matches to play in premiership, all hands should be on deck to ensure that the errors of previous weeks are not repeated again. i am optimistic that the league can still go in favour of chelsea but its has to be accomplished by hard work from players and management of this great club(chelsea). there is always a bad time and season in one's live but that doesn't mean the end everything. Lets keep our fingers crossed and also pray that thing are turned right. Scolari should not be shown the exit yet as having changed so many managers in a short while has never done any good to the club. We should not allow the lost to Manutd demoralise us rather it should seen as a lesson to all. Comment on this article |
