Useless

Premier League Chelsea

Just as I had predicted in every respect and it sickens me as much as any CFC longstanding fan. Utd were superior in every area and Jose would be forgiven for thinking that it was his old CFC he was watching in red. CFC were weak in every area except Cech and Ashley Cole worked hard. NOt much more to be said bar that from now on it is downhill all the way. Scolari ought to be history but won;t as we will have to put up with him for the rest of the season. The players however appear to have given up on him and only the vaguest sense of professionalism prevailed at the end though several of them were almost laughing - Drogba for example. Terry and Lamps may well be tempted away by Jose now. And Roman well I think he may sell up soon.
So in every single respect CFC are in a mess even if the veneer says otherwise.

Drogba can go and join Mourinho at Inter now because when it's not going his way he couldn't give a monkeys about this club. Red carded in the CL final, which ultimately lost us the match in my opinion. Drogba can go, Anelka is playing much better than him this season yet he was left on bench. Avram Grant was managing the team better than Scolari is at the moment.

Anelka is leading the league while Drogba has a single goal -- yet Drogba starts.

I did not see Drogba contribute anything -- yet he played the full match.

Chelsea is missing Robben (not Duff.) I was absolutely gutted when we let him go. He is exactly what we miss most.

Lampard comes inside and fills the space behind the striker. Ballack, Deco, and Mikel play inside. Joe Cole, together with A. Cole and Bosingwa, are the only width to the team, and Joe Cole is slow prone to over extend himself.

Mikel is much improved but not as disaplined as Makalele; he gets discouraged when we go down a point.

Scolari took off Deco and added Anelka giving away the middle of the park (Chelsea's strength) which United took full advantage.

Chelsea dominated against both Roma and Arsenal before going down a point then falling apart. The mental fierceness and desire to fight back is gone. We again collapsed after falling behind.

Mistakes:

Chelsea stopped being Chelsea. Bought into the idea we must become another Arsenal. Morinho did not play Robben. Bought Sheva. Fans turned on owner. Did not buy Tevez. Did not buy Daniel Alvez. Having no Robben did not buy Robinho (rather have Robben.) Did not sell Drogba. Bought Deco. Have not purchased real quality in 2 years -- ben haim, pizsaro, malouda, etc.

It's a pity Abramovic has lost it! Scolari should be shown the door. This Chelsea squad are a complete embarassment to the team Jose built. What a shame! No sense of urgency, no fighting spirit, no cohesion! They allowed Man Utd expose them like a championship team. Michael Essien should be reinstated as soon as he's ready to play. In short, Chelsea had better forget about this season. They are a load of rubbish and overated stars. Send Scolari packing now! Mikel Obi is an attacking midfielder, not a defensive midfielder! When is Chelsea going to get it? Chelsea should go ahead and sign Oguchi Onyewu right away from Standard Liege. The US defender will help save Chelsea from all the embarassment of not being able to head or clear aerial crosses in front of goal. Drogba has already stated that his mind is not here. Let him go! Period! You cannot get the best out of a player who doesn't want to be here. Again, if Abramovic is a good businessman and club owner, now is the time to let Scolari go. Enough of the embarassment. Imagine Arsenal, Liverpool, and Man Utd beating the hell out of Chelsea. What a pity!!!!

After watching yesterday's match, it's apparent that something is not right at the bridge right now. There was something missing from Chelsea yesterday. Where was the usual 'Chelsea resilience' and fighting spirit?? matches between us and United are usually always tight affairs but Man Utd were all over Chelsea in the second half. The game became so one sided it was embarassing. God knows what Mourinho must have been thinking....'this isn't the Chelsea I left'...and....'United look even more awesome than usual - my Inter side are gonna have their work cut out to contain them'...or something along those lines. Can't remember the last time we lost so comprehensively to Utd.

Anyway, the team just don't seem be functioning properly at the moment and it's been a while since they last put in a good performance - yet they are still second.

Scolari does need time. It's no good getting rid of him as Abramovich simply can't keep on chopping and changing managers every five minutes. Continuity is the key. Look at Utd...and Arsenal. We need to stop behaving like Real Madrid and start behaving like a stable club instead. Real are no role models and Abramaovich needs to realise this fast.

I don't think Scolari is suffering from the Ramos syndrome - where his players can't understand him. His english is better than that, but it's not as good as Mourinho's.

Chelsea need more balance. It has become very clear that the loss of Essien has affected the team more than anyone could have imagined. I believe Essien not Terry is the heartbeat of the team and his absence this season is the reason why Chelsea have looked so unconvincing week in week out. The guy is a phenomenal player and we are NOT the same without him.

Another thing is clear either Ballack or Lampard has to go at the end of the season. there is not room for both players in the team at the same time as they just trip over each other. Deco must stay, so must Mikel and with Essien back next season Chelsea need a speedy winger in the summer so Ballack of Lampard should move on.

Drogba?? what is going on?? he just looks disinterested so Chelsea really should let him go in the summer. Anelka looks better right now but is not a reliable goalscorer.

Two key summer buys: A new winger and a top quality proven striker who scores goals for fun.

I am a Chelsea fan and I am becoming continually annoyed about the lack of passion and determination in the team. Scholari needs to change something soon.

I don't think it would be right to get rid of scholari. A manager needs time to adjust and get his players confidence in him. Perhaps this just shows how great a manager Mourinho was.

Man U played well but Chelsea need to go back to their old ways. Forget about playing Deco on the left. We need 2 fast wingers who can get to the byeline and whip in a cross. That was how we won the league under Mourinhho.

I predict we will win nothing this year, but we are not yet definetely out of the title race YET. The way we are playing it doesn't look good. Bring back the old Chelski!

Following yesterday's surrender to the red mancs - let's run through the team as to how they 'performed':-

Cech - From the early minutes he looked a bit out of sorts, when he totally fluffed the kick out of his box early on. However, did recover a bit until the dodgy corner fiasco, then lost the plot afterwards.

Bosingwa - He's good this guy, but if he has a bad day his head goes down. Where the deuce was he for the last goal?

Carvallho - Excellent to see him back but needs some more matches under his belt to get back up to speed, then we'll be ok again. But he needs to stop trying to con the ref with his antics in the box as he could easily have cost us a penalty when he tried to do to Ronaldo what Ron did to his ferrari.

Terry - Iron Man, but he needs a rest as i think the back injury and other knocks are starting to take their toll.

Ashley Cole - Needs to concentrate on what he's doing on the pitch, not what he's planning to do on his mrs' bush after the match. Why did we let Bridge go to M/City?

Ballack - Stop counting the minutes on a cash earned basis and get playing like the world class player you're supposed to be.

Mikel - Should have left him to M/Utd and stuck with Diarra as he not only looks like Makalele, he does the job better as well - hence R/madrid coughing up the dosh for him

Deco - Wants to take a 'deco' at what he's doing, has been ineffective since about week 4

Lampard - Tries his damndest to get us out of the mess but he can't do it all on his own - can he

Joe Cole - Still one of our best, but i don't think Big Phil fancies him somehow. He's got to be given more games at a full 90 mins - unless there's something they know about his fitness that we don't

Drogba - Pace Off to Inter or wherever now so we can get someone in that's at least half interested in playing for us. Cos at only that amount of interest will still be a 200% increase on what Drogba feels now.

Oh, by the way, you may well have blown a big money move back with Jose after yesterday's show, cos he must be having second thoughts as well.

I think our title challenge is now a bit like an old Skoda, spluttering to a dead stop, but I'd will on Manc Utd as I don't want no hubcap stealing, shell suit wearing, dole queue scouser winning the title.

can you imagine how bad it's going to be if 60,000 odd scousers all sound off like carragher + phil thompson does if they win it

=======

Anelka is leading the league in goals.

I don't get the devotion to Drogba, Lampard, and Terry. There are better options.

I want say two things. First Congratulations to Ronaldo, Man U and their coach, who did fantastic job,and i hope they retain the title because they desevre and i don't want see Looserpools taking it. Second I should say let's all be happy as long as both the special one
{Jose} and Roman the {Loser} are happy! As i said after the Westham's game Chelsea won't take any trophy, and if you still think so, you should support Westbrom. Finally, I see lot of people comparing Chelsea players such as Drogba and Anelka or Ballack and Deco the problem isn't the players it's the Coach and the Owner. Even i see some people calling A Grant good coach I really loved! He was very poor man. I want to remind all of you that the one took Chelsea to the final wasn't A Grant but Clarke, The assistant, who now at westham. Honest Scolari is good coach but he didn't get the formula rigth and he doesn't know Eurobean Club football, which makes him very dificult and takes a time, but he is old ,anyway, remember what happened to Benitez for his fisrt years.

One name I haven't seen mentioned on here at all: Steve Clarke. Has he been a loss? Also, if Roman were to pull out, might that not result in Chelsea fielding a team of players who actually want to wear the shirt rather than just coin it in?

All hope is not lost yet. chalsea fc has about seventeen more matches to play in premiership, all hands should be on deck to ensure that the errors of previous weeks are not repeated again. i am optimistic that the league can still go in favour of chelsea but its has to be accomplished by hard work from players and management of this great club(chelsea). there is always a bad time and season in one's live but that doesn't mean the end everything. Lets keep our fingers crossed and also pray that thing are turned right. Scolari should not be shown the exit yet as having changed so many managers in a short while has never done any good to the club. We should not allow the lost to Manutd demoralise us rather it should seen as a lesson to all.
