Well done Craig Thompson

Scottish Premier Heart of Midlothian

Can I just say a big well done to the referee today. I though he handled a very tricky match very well.

Everyone will have an opinion on the sending off, but lets face it, the ref certainly cannot be blamed. Apart from when Lee Wallace tripped himself up, I thought he called every other decision spot on.

I am quick to criticise, so its only fair I give credit when its due. I certainly would not have relished officiating a game like that - well done Craig Thompson.

the referre was attrocious, everytime a hibs player came within a yard of a hearts player, the hearts player hit the deck, i dont agree with what mixu says about leeway because he is a striker, but it was never a red card!! felthers feet were on the deck, he had his eye on the ball and never touched berra. berra even sed he moved out the way, so he delebiratly acted like he had a broken leg just to get fletcher sent off, its typical from hearts they done it all game, if it wasnt for that stupidity that ruins football then it wud ave bin a better game and hibs probably wud have opne, considerin b4 that, hearts were constantly under pressure. but if i point the finger at anyone its the officals, they r 2 inconsisent and someting has to be done! oh and as for riordans yellow card, it was stupid, but y shud he take the abuse from fans ? he's onyl doin his job.

Mixu is a complete waster, he is only trying to smokescreen his inadequacies at coaching or not having an ounce of tactical awareness by blaming the red card. I just hope hibs keep falling for his point the finger at everyone else tactics. The fact of the matter was is that it was a bad tackle and was late although he may not have made much contact the intent was there so a card of some colour was merited so whats all the complaints about?

If I remember right Hibs only had that one chance that Fletcher missed in the whole half hour he was on so as for hibs dominating or you's would have won if 11 men had stayed on the pitch, where is the evidence to back these claims and what game were you's watching?

Hearts were by far the better team in both games and hibs should count themselves lucky it hasn't been two defeats. As for the fools who believe Riordan was in the right to react like that then it really just shows what kind of people you are and the result was the perfect answer to Derek "I'm too good to train" Riordan. How much abuse does Nade get from the hibs fans, its all part of the game and as a pro footballer he has to put up with it because none of it was overboard and how many derbies has he played in before so he should know what to expect.

It is easy to see where emotions lie in these debates. Derek Riordan and every other footballer takes pelters from opposition fans and the police do nothing and no consideration is given to local men. However, If he was Nade Obua, Majid Bougherra or Mark Walters there would be a question or two because the attacks would be perceived as racist. Riordan gets it because he is a Hibee. He gives back less than one ten thousandth of what he was dealt and the same stupid fans want him banned. Catholics are vilified, and everyone with Irish roots are mocked, but they have to take it.

I think my next degree should be sports law and offer some comebacks to those wronged by crazy adminstrative handshakers.

GET A LIFE!!!

If you are big and ugly enough to dish it out, be big and ugly enough to take it on the chin when the man sweeps a hand back at you.

The fact that Berra WAS NOT TOUCHED should mean it is NOT a red card. I did notice that it was the HIBS FORWARDS WHO WERE BOOKED, and yet forwards are kicked all over the place all day long by thumping tacklers from the household cavalry et al, and these same defenders cannot take it back. Indeed they dive before any contact is made.

The Hearts manager states that these tackles are banned in Europe and right he is, howver, he does not complain when his own men come in hard and late from the side the back and from anywhere else if it gets him points.

NEVERTHELESS, he also kows that referees make mistakes and he had to substitute two shockers in recent weeks because he knew the men could have rightly walked for their next if not their last infringement.

I would love to see other coaches do the same to others. That would mean an early bath for Barry Feguson at the hands of Walter Smith when the referees fail to pull him up for ANYTHING short of treason. (Barry being a tru blue, will never stoop to treason, so he is thus, unbookable).

Referees are NOT Perfect, which is why they need more yes on the park and cameras to aid them immediately, as an odfside goal and a bad penalty lead to the loss of wages for these men and THAT IS TOTALLY UNFAIR.

Think on this. If a bookie made these things happen, there would be a national and indeed international scandal. So why do we let referees do it?

Nearly four days gone and you are still bitter.
Never met a worse looser than someone from Leith though don't know why you should be getting used to it by now.
Grow up get a life and move on.

Think your next degree is to try to be interesting as you already have a masters in boredom.

If Fletcher's tackle on Berra was not a sending off and Berra dived then why is baboon boy Mixu not backing his player all the way. Surely a good manager would appeal for his so called best player if he truely believed it was not a foul.
