yesterday i heard an article sayin that gary o neil deal will go through before the end of the week.

I believe he'd have to be registered by tonight to be eligable. Can't see that happening.

a player has to have signed by 1:30pm friday to be eligable to play a 3:00pm saturday kick off...same situation kanu was in the other year same goes for eyal berkovic

Can't see it occuring Steve Gibson, Middlesbrough's chairman said none of their senior players will be leaving in January, O'Neil is one of Middlesbrough's most experinced premiership players although only relatively young, so he'd be in that bracket.
I'd say it would have to be an offer way in excess of the 5M 'Boro paid, or wait until the summer, and see which divison each team is in and organise a price then!
