what wrong with barton.....................Premier League Portsmouth by blackhairpompeytim (U13757227) 07 January 2009  why does no-one like barton he is a no nosense midfield he would win us the ball in the midfield and he is not scared to tackle people he puts 110% every game and he a creative midfield that is what we need in the midfield but he aint only that as i said he will tackle people which having him for as little as 2million is a bargian espically when the prices are inflatted in the jan transfer market adams has already said that most of purchases will b made in the summer but losing defoe and diarra they need to sign player not plays who cost 10 million like polduski but cheap players who can perform on the big stag like barton,bullard and brown he said he would rather spend money in the jan indow to keep pompey in the priemership than save his money till the summer and end up in the champship i think barton will be a good assest and i hope he does join please debate and if you dont agree say so thanks for your time pup Latest 10 commentsRead members' comments or add your own

You can also add my son and I to the list of people who would walk away from Fratton if he ever signed for us. I am afraid I do not wish to be associated with a club who would sign that sort of neanderthal and would along with many others withdraw my support. We would also add to our reputation as the laughing stock of the premier league as no one else would touch him with a barge pole.
