Hello pompey fans, westham fan in peace, i felt really shocked and sick when i was aware that JD is turning his back on you just to suit himself! Being a Ex-Westham player i really really enjoyed watching him play for us! he was a pacey exciting player to watch..He left us soon and i honestly did miss him but hated his attitude. But his behavior to u was apporling! i really feel for you pompey fans as his pace will be surely missed..crouch and defoe formed a good partnership and where dangerous to many defences..I just wanted to let you lot know how i feel about this betrayal, it really winds me up! good luck though pompey fans and am sure you will avoid the drop! good luck

He doesn't have freedom of the city, since he wasn't in our FA Cup squad!

Looking back on it, he was as anonymous as the rest of our team were as we neared the final - so he didn't even take the pressure off our non-cup tied strikers in the league!

It's pleasing that players like Hughes and Davis - with just 43 mins of FA Cup action - got winners' medals and he did not.

You know what I'm a big believer in Karma, what goes around eventually comes around...as for Defoe lets forget him and look at the effort people like Kanu put back into their roots and put in superb performances in the FA cup final and the AC Milan game...

I can see Kanu and crouch making a decent partnership if they get to play together enough. Kanu is a worker

Without meaning to hijack your board (and without trying to cause friction!) I can understand the Pompey fans frustration but the West Ham guy just sounds a bit bitter because they got relegated and he wanted to stay in the Premiership. Who can blame him for that, he was younger and trying to break into the England team!

I've never seen him with an attitude problem at Spurs that affected his game, as you can probably judge by the reception he got at the lane, and when Spurs came to Portsmouth. Our fans have sang his name in pretty much every game even before we had Harry Redknapp in place!

I'm surprised he left Portsmouth so soon but his reasons for wanting to leave sound pretty fair, main factor in going to Portsmouth was to work under Harry Redknapp, and the other issues that made sense like still having his house, family etc in London.

Anyway, waffle over! Just think he's getting a bit of bad press!

VERY nice of Jermain to ask Pompey for a £700k loyalty bonus. I like someone with a sense of humour !
