Did anyone else see Sky Sports last night when it was revealed that West Ham Legend Julian Dicks has become a manager of Wivenhoe Town in the Eastern Counties League...

Well you have got to start somewhere ....

Can't find much of a link apart from

Apparently he's doing it for nothing, legend!
Imagine him as a coach, he wouldn't let prima donna's get the better of him.
Welcome back to footy Terminator! winkeye

I thought he was their chairman? Or he was chairman of some local team. Anyhow he owns a pub in essex last I heard so good luck to him and who knows how well he will do, he may move up the levels one day.

Yeah, I saw this on Ceefax last night.

Good luck to him. Obviously loves the game and since he can't play any more, this is the next best thing. Who knows, he might be a natural and we might one day be welcoming the Terminator to the Upton Park for an FA Cup tie. winkeye

And now for my favourite comment: "And Dicks has played everywhere tonight. It's like they've got 11 Dicks on the field!"
