Best thing all round.
We don't want to see anyone injured, players or supporters.
It's freezing in MK at the moment. Al least -4o.

Not interested - only affects crappy lower league outfits that nobody is interested in.

Looking at the forcast for the weekend and it could be the same at some grounds - nothing can be done about it though.

Im against a mid winter break as our weather is so unpredictable we could have frost anytime between nov and april, so you cant predict when the frost and bad weather would be at its worst

I think its about time that the Christmas fixtures were done away with. Fans travel long distances only to discover that the match is off.

A break over christmas will certainly go some way to avoiding regular disappointments.

Since on average only 701000 people attend premiership matches, while 740000 attend Football League matches from Championship to Blue Sqare Premier, (source:football365 website) I think we can safely say that matches being postponed due to inclement weather will affect the greater proportion of football fans.

I am most sad for Burton fans, since the weather has denied Nigel Clough the swansong he so richly deserved after ten good years at the club.
