LincolnLatic15 (U7129593) posted Jan 4, 2009 ecstatic that he's back. Figueroa has has seemed a bit lax recently so the competition will be good for them both. Personally I'd rate Edman over him but I think they'll push each other to better things

latics_ed (U10597311) posted Jan 4, 2009 can't wait to see Edman back in the team. I don't rate figueroa at all, probably our weak link in defence this season. I think Bruce will definately pick Edman over him when his fitness returns!

tini_latic (U13768951) posted Jan 5, 2009 Edman is a class act. He looks comfortable on the ball and he reads the game great at the back. Personally prefer him to Figeuroa who i'm not a massive fan of. He seems to not be able to control or pass the ball. He gets away with his bad positional play because of his pace. When Edman signed last season the defence looked a lot tighter and more organised.

Kapo's_Lovechild (U8851583) posted Jan 5, 2009 Edman is a true left back. Excellent positioning and calm under pressure. Figueroa is more of an attacking left-back but needs to improve his position play.
