Histon P-P Swansea City

Histon's big FA Cup third round clash with Swansea City has been called off due to a frozen pitch at the Glass World Stadium.

Match referee Phil Crossley said the pitch was playable at present but due to the bitterly cold forecast he could not guarantee the game could finish.

Unlike many clubs who are shackled with debt and the ground they play on is their main form of security.

We have a lovely stadium to play in - but, no debt, that's even lovelier laugh

We were invited to be founder members of the 3rd division and Cardiff were invited to be founder members of the 2nd division when the football league expanded in the early 20's - long before the welsh league even existed.
