ROUTLEDGE "What a signing"QPR by Rixy11 (U13765515) 02 January 2009 1 million for Routledge is a bargain. A player who has played for England at every level except first team. Wayne is a player who gets you on your feet, has pace, skill and can go past defenders with ease. Latest 10 commentsRead members' comments or add your own

u22brownr (U4532917) posted Jan 2, 2009 Quality signing for QPR. Routledge has got the ability for championship level certainly, although I'm not sure about the Premiership. A few more signings like this and you could push for the playoffs certainly.

I'm in love with the Villa (U4720591) posted Jan 2, 2009 Routledge has potential - he's still quite young and has shown he can do well in the Championship. Regular games will help him improve so if you guys do get promoted within the next 1-3 years, he should be able to cope with the Premiership. I'm a bit disappointed Villa let him go without ever really giving him a chance, and I do hope he does well at QPR.

Palmster07 (U8947360) posted Jan 3, 2009 Routledge first came on the scene with a good season in the prem with Palace. Seems to have lost his way a little since, he likes being given alot of ball which maybe hasnt happened when he has played for tottenham and villa. Certainly a very talented player.

luke_08avfc91 (U13260077) posted Jan 3, 2009 I've got to be honest i think routeledge is a waste of space. Mass potential but he just can't use it. His first touch is awful, and he seems to bottle it under pressure. Glad to have got rid of him

Born-Not-Made (U13766995) posted Jan 3, 2009 Routledge will do well at QPR if the management and staff can get his confidence up. He has ability, no doubt.

Halealdo (U8488745) posted Jan 3, 2009 Not sure on this one. Made a great start at Cardiff, but after about three games he started to falter, his first touch worsened and he became extremely selfish - passing up easy oppertunities to set up team mates for one more step over or a turn. Not a good guy to have in the dressing room either according to the Cardiff staff and players.
