I'm sorry, I strongly admire the work the club has done, how they I'm I'm sorry, I do admire the club for their work, the way they treated Curbs, the community work, and I am always behind the team, and will back Parkinson, but I think this is frankly an embarassing and ridiculous appointment this is, and we need to talk out against the board, the way they have treated us as the paying fans recently, leaving us in the dark, and not doing the logical thing. More description on the site etc, protest before and after the game on Saturday.

I don't care if you are against this, but just read what we have to say, if you are for this protest please join the group and help with us on Saturday.

Have we not learnt anything from Dowie, Reed and Pardew, Davies would have been ideal not Parkinson who worked under the last manager and one would imagine was ok with his way of working? so will he change or continue down the same road? I really hope that he can pull it off but I have my doubts, who will want to come to Charlton or does he mean he will permantly sign the loan players we have already?

Colchester fan in peace here. Have to say I was suprised by the news that Parky has got the job on a permanent basis, I don't know enough about the money situation there but I assume that was a factor.

However bitter some Colchester fans are with the way he left us for Hull when we got promoted, any Colchester fan will tell you what a brilliant job he did with us. Not only getting us promoted (where we had been mid table no-hopers for the past few years) but also building a squad that allowed Geraint Williams to take us to 10th in the Championship the next season.

I wish Parky and yourselves well in your bid to stay up. As much as it would be nice to play yourselves again, I would much rather that was next season and in the Championship!!

I like Charlton, But is your board thinking he was definatly taking us down before we sacked him and we were lucky to stay up.

I cannot believe all you negative Charlton fans. Parky took Colchester into the Championship as champions on a tiny budget with average players in front of 5000 fans every week. He was at Hull just 6 months so couldnt make his mark and he bought Ricketts and Turner to the club who are premiership regulars. Caretaker Managers usually win loads and once appointed lose loads. Im sure with Parky now he has the job he will win loads and you will climb the table. If you are true fans you will support him.

Simmo we will always get behind the team, you should be in the North Upper when we score a goal it's non-stop cheering and singing and backing the team until the opposition scores

We always back the team and maybe Parky is a good boss but might just be out of his depth here although I do hope I am proved wrong.
