Roy HodgsonPremier League Fulham by bilsim (U8580403) 29 December 2008 Not sure how many of these threads you get, but I have to say that Roy Hodgson is in my opinion, one of the best managers around. He's got you lot playing with a great spirit, positivity and speaks about the game very intelligently. From the first time I saw him interviewed last season I though he'd manage to keep you up and I'm glad that he did, it's a credit to the league that in amongst foreign owners and multi millionaire players, a team can do well on the work of a great manager. cottagecravens (U13692896) posted Dec 30, 2008 yes the biggest difference...Hodgson sorted out our keeper situ which dire and a worry. I'm not saying Niemi and Keller plus Warner did not do the business but the Aussie Mark is a step up on all. Defence..Hangeland is a huge player for Fulham lose him and we are back to where we were before. Simply speaking we have stopped shipping goals - as we had done for so many years. Now all we need is to actually get some down the other end. This does worry me. However Roy has done amazing work to turn this around and we are all grateful for that.
