Scolari out at the end of the season...

comment on the article

We have now lost the premierleague. Not a single goal scored in 80 minutes + is a big reason as to why. The CL we have no chance. Our players are good enough but only with a good manager. FA Cup we have a chance but since we never win penalty shootouts our chances at that are very slim and winning it alone won't keep Scolari the job. We need Essien back and our defence too as we are conceding far too many goals from some strange sources. Last season we only conceeded 3 goals from corners and only 1 goal the season before that. This year we conceeded four already. We had so many chances to go top on points that its ridiculous we never took one.

IMO our season is pretty much over with Scolari in charge. Maybe we should beg Grant or Jose to come back. I mean Grant came a whisker from winning the PL from an unwinable position and only some unfortunate deflections off the woodwork lost us the CL final. Jose I don't need to comment on when it comes to success.

To those saying "we're just three points off, it's halfway in the season", blah, blah: you need to start worrying like I am.

I'm not saying Scolari should go, far from that. I'm saying that we've been unimpressive in the last month or so and if we continue like that we won't win anything. We keep possession very well, fair, but we make nought of it. What's the sense of possession when you're not winning? Do we want to be like Arsenal?

We seem to have no clue when people defend very well. Does that mean we will only beat the poor teams? A great club should find several ways of winning matches but it's not so with Chelsea any more. We just want to pass the ball into the net. If that doesn't work then it means we're not going to win. My God!

I have been unconcerned for about a month now but I'm genuinely beginning to worry.

I think it's a mistake to call clubs like Fulham and West Ham "pathetic clubs", the PL is actually really exciting this year, I love that it really could end up completely differently to the way it is now and although I'm gutted we lost points to the Hammers and Cottagers, it's nice to see a more even PL.

We've not lost yet, and with Gerrard in prison and Ronaldo busy with his makeup I don't see why we're in a worse position than last year.
As long as big Phil sorts himself out we can still win.

I am a big Chelsea fan and I can conclude here that we are not going to win the PL or the champions league this season. My coclusion is not from the last game, but the last 7 games. The current chelsea's team does not play like they want to be champions. I was very disappointed by the way chelsea played on sunday. I had just returned from during an 8 hour overnight shift and I stayed up just to watched my dear chelsea losing 2 points. I am not really sure where is Big Phil heading with this current team. The current team is slow in attacks, and midfield and can not defend set pieces accurately. If one look at the current roster at the bridge, one would think that chelsea could walk all over Fulham and beat them with ease. Big Phil needs to change his curerent tactics and bring out the best out of the players he has at his disposal if we are going to win any silverware this season.
I know it is too early to jump to conclusion, but the way we are playing speaks volume. I know Big Phil is doing what he was brought in to do, play attractive football, and entertain the fans and chelsea's billionaire, but good results are better than this so call attractive football.
I will say this over and over and again, getting raid of Jose Mourinho was a huge mistake. Jose was the right man for chelsea and I don't care what anyone says. Big Phil is the worse manager Chelsea ever had since Rineri departed from the Bridge. Avrant Grant did better than what this so call Big Phil is doing. We need some chandes or else we are down for nothing this season.

I believe we need to offload Malouda as soon as possible, Deco is a luxury player and we need a young quick creative player in the middle. Scolari to his credit has Chelsea scoring more goals but we seem to have lost the killer instinct and focus which Jose instilled. Chelsea need to look at this immediately and get the players to focus until the whistle goes. Chelsea conceded last minute goals last season to Everton, Wigan, Aston Villa when all three games were in our control, but as with Fulham it seems the players had decided the match was over before the whistle actually went. These slip up ups cost Chelsea the title last season, we simply gave it away to a very lucky United team and again this season we are failing to take chances and defend at critical stages. Surely Scolari now knows Malouda and Deco have become liabilities. We need more direct players who are creative but quicker to pick out a pass or shoot, not players who get caught in possession time after time. I believe letting Jose go was a crime and one Kenyon was responsible for, he brought in Grant and Tenk Cate behind Mourinho's back and ironically both are now gone, what's his motivation and focus. I personally think United must be delighted he went to their biggest potential rivals as he is slowly disintegrating the club from within. Please get rid of Kenyon...he is a cancer!!!!!

Exactly, Fulham have only conceded 14 goals this season.

Chelsea 9
Man Utd 10
Liverpool 13
Fulham 14
Aston Villa 22
Arsenal 23

Ok, they can't score away from home but they've got a good keeper and a strong back 4.

Not putting away 3 goals at their ground isn't evidence of a systemic failure. Conceding 2, well that might happen when you're not playing your first choice defenders.

We just want to pass the ball into the net

what?

monsieur lampards goal against fulham wasnt exactly walking it in.

against west brom we were hitting lots of long range shots.

just cause we want to play good footy doesnt mean we play like arsenal. we have scored a lot of our goals from outside the box, we have hit quite a few long reange efforts. This is just a foolish thing to say.

Smilingcfctomm2, we are are not concern about how many goals we have scored outside the box or how we have scored the goals we have, but losing 2 points when we seemed to be in control of a game.We need points on the table to enable us win the PL. Playing good football is not all to it, but getting good results. We don't play like Arsenal, but are trying to play like them and getting almost the same results as them. All we ask of Big Phil is to give us good results, bring out the best out of the players he has at his disposal and win us silverware this season. What good would it do for us if we play attractive and entertaining football, but win nothing.I am a chelsea fan and I believe that many chelsea's fans would agree with me that so long we are getting good results that would win us the PL or champions league, we don't really care about how attractively we play.
AC Milan has won the Serie A many times and the champions league about 6 times by using good tactics. If winning a championship was all about playing with style and attraction, I don't think AC Milan would have won the Serie A and Champions league the many times they have. We need a manager who would come in and develop a winning strategy like Jose Mourinho did when he was at the bridge. Big Phil needs to develop a winning mentality at our dear chelsea. We need points now and we got to start accumulating those points now. Big Phil needs to get a grip of his team and get us some points.

wtf are u on about mate. You quite clearly didnt actually read what i was writing about did u.

i wrote that in reply to someone saying we walk it into the net. Which we quite clearly dont. Im sick of people comparing us to arsenal simply cause we are trying to play good footy. WE DONT EVEN PLAY THE SAME FLIPPING FORMATION!!!

we dont play like arsenal. we dont try and walk it into the net. That was my point, it was simply in reply to all muppets who think we do. So your response was pretty stupid and pointless.

the 5 disappointing results this season.

5. Chelsea 1-1 Burnley: a cup final wud have been nice for the boys and given good confidence.

4. Tottenham 1-0 Chelsea: With United losing at fulham we had a great chance to close the gap but we didnt.

3. Man United 3-0 Chelsea: Not the defeat but the manner of the defeat. Really poor not fight from the boys.

2. Chelsea 1-2 Arsenal: Leading against an Out of form Arsenal, we just had to hold out but we lost to RVP Goals.

1. Chelsea 0-1 Liverpool: 86 Unbeaten home game record gone after a poor peformance. Didn't fight or put liverpool under pressure. Liverpool ran out comfy winners in the end
