Scolari out at the end of the season...Premier League Chelsea by LegendaryHotDogMan - Top of the Members Online List (U11484124) 28 December 2008 We have now lost the premierleague. Not a single goal scored in 80 minutes + is a big reason as to why. The CL we have no chance. Our players are good enough but only with a good manager. FA Cup we have a chance but since we never win penalty shootouts our chances at that are very slim and winning it alone won't keep Scolari the job. We need Essien back and our defence too as we are conceding far too many goals from some strange sources. Last season we only conceeded 3 goals from corners and only 1 goal the season before that. This year we conceeded four already. We had so many chances to go top on points that its ridiculous we never took one. Latest 10 commentsRead members' comments or add your own

springfieldexpress (U10580233) posted Dec 29, 2008 I am a big Chelsea fan and I can conclude here that we are not going to win the PL or the champions league this season. My coclusion is not from the last game, but the last 7 games. The current chelsea's team does not play like they want to be champions. I was very disappointed by the way chelsea played on sunday. I had just returned from during an 8 hour overnight shift and I stayed up just to watched my dear chelsea losing 2 points. I am not really sure where is Big Phil heading with this current team. The current team is slow in attacks, and midfield and can not defend set pieces accurately. If one look at the current roster at the bridge, one would think that chelsea could walk all over Fulham and beat them with ease. Big Phil needs to change his curerent tactics and bring out the best out of the players he has at his disposal if we are going to win any silverware this season.

LondonsFinestClub (U11217560) posted Dec 30, 2008 I believe we need to offload Malouda as soon as possible, Deco is a luxury player and we need a young quick creative player in the middle. Scolari to his credit has Chelsea scoring more goals but we seem to have lost the killer instinct and focus which Jose instilled. Chelsea need to look at this immediately and get the players to focus until the whistle goes. Chelsea conceded last minute goals last season to Everton, Wigan, Aston Villa when all three games were in our control, but as with Fulham it seems the players had decided the match was over before the whistle actually went. These slip up ups cost Chelsea the title last season, we simply gave it away to a very lucky United team and again this season we are failing to take chances and defend at critical stages. Surely Scolari now knows Malouda and Deco have become liabilities. We need more direct players who are creative but quicker to pick out a pass or shoot, not players who get caught in possession time after time. I believe letting Jose go was a crime and one Kenyon was responsible for, he brought in Grant and Tenk Cate behind Mourinho's back and ironically both are now gone, what's his motivation and focus. I personally think United must be delighted he went to their biggest potential rivals as he is slowly disintegrating the club from within. Please get rid of Kenyon...he is a cancer!!!!!

springfieldexpress (U10580233) posted Dec 30, 2008 Smilingcfctomm2, we are are not concern about how many goals we have scored outside the box or how we have scored the goals we have, but losing 2 points when we seemed to be in control of a game.We need points on the table to enable us win the PL. Playing good football is not all to it, but getting good results. We don't play like Arsenal, but are trying to play like them and getting almost the same results as them. All we ask of Big Phil is to give us good results, bring out the best out of the players he has at his disposal and win us silverware this season. What good would it do for us if we play attractive and entertaining football, but win nothing.I am a chelsea fan and I believe that many chelsea's fans would agree with me that so long we are getting good results that would win us the PL or champions league, we don't really care about how attractively we play.
