To all Keane doubters

Premier League Liverpool

I was always sure Robbie Keane was quality and would come good, he always played well and got quite a few assists before his first goal but just had to get used to playing with the liverpool squad, I got the feeling he would come good after his goal at the emirates, and despite all the man utd/arsenal fans talking about how he was a '20 million pound misfit" he has. Fans in football generally have to have more understanding of how difficult it is to move to a new club with a new style of play and players. adding to that the pressure of the price tag and the pay rise
Well done Keano
brilliantly played liverpool

"Love how you guys slated him, and now he is a hero.lol Fickle fickle fans! Will love you forever Keano, Spurs god!"

Not said he's a hero and there were a small minority dissenting against him, you donut. It's been other fans who couldn't wait to point the finger after we'd spent £20m.

"YOu must be very young to think Fergie has some kind of magic power to stop other teams winning the league."

It's said he has a hotline to Lancaster Gate for emergencies.

"The odds offered by the bookies are based on the latest facts, when those changes, the odds changes as well, that´s how their business work."

He knows that, just being a WUM, typically for a gloryhunter. They bleat when they are winning.

"Like Liverpool were ever going to sell a player they played 20 million for 6 months later for less than half the price?? Talk about "journalists" (like at the sun)"

I dont know how that rumour started to kick off. We would pay £20m for a player to sell him 6 months later?? Any club ever done business like that? And as for The Sca-um, I wouldn't even use that tabloid to start a fire.

For those "experts" on bookies, i have some news for you. Bookies determine the odds based on the sure and certain knowledge that one of the teams will win, and they will have to pay out. They then compare the amounts placed on all possible outcomes and calcualte the best odds for each outcome to ensure that they make a profit whatever the outcome. The change in Liverpools odds has to do with the large sums being placed on United to win it as they have recovered from the poor start. if Liverpool fans place more bets on us as the odds lengthen, the odds will fall back again.

Sorry to bore everyone, but I just want to point out to United fans that it is them, and not the bookies who think Liverpool wont win it, and I am certain we knew that long before the season started.

The bookies will win money if liverpool win the league as most people will be punting on chelsea and United so that has to be an un valid point unfortunately for urself,

keane has due to the fact he is actually playing on the pitch opposed to being a sub! now he must be given the 2nd striker role when torres returns or partnership with kuyt must continue. Now if we want a settled team we must make minimum changes. Play Yossi the following game against n'castle. I would would preferably play babel on the right but now yossi is there let him continue untill he loses form.

In a nutshell rafa must make minimum changes and give the current players a long run.

P.S don't play Lucas or Mascherano their lack of creativity is not needed at the moment.

Keane has scored 3 goals in two games, and how many had he scored before that? Don't get carried away with this form. He needs to produce this on a regular basis.

Why would Liverpool sell Robbie Keane, okay he's had a rough couple of months but his obvious class that he's always had whether it be at spurs, leeds,Inter, wolves, coventry.the tabloids are vicious, they spread garbage to sell papers.
Let me take you back to 1981,Ian Rush was having a torrid time,he wasn't scoring,He was put in the reserves,he got left out of the squad for the european cup final in Paris, and he was getting sick of having the mickey taken out of him by King Kenny, and he was a notorious mickey taker,Steve Nicol was his favourite victim,He handed in a transfer request,Bob Paisley let on to accept it,the then Crystal Palace manager Terry Venables was interested in signing,But Bob told him to be more selfish and d what he was signed for and score goals, the transfer request was never accepted,Rush went on the rampage during the 1981-82 season and the rest is history.
As I said in another post,I would be more worried if Keane scored early in the season and the goals dried up and the performances were poor, but whilst he was having trouble finding the net,his performances and his atitude has been first class.I never doubted him for a second. And he's been a great servant to the Republic of Ireland.

Mascherano? Are you sure about that? About as good as any defensive CM in the league, if not better.

For me I would like Arbeloa, Carragher, Agger, Insua, Babel, Mascherano, Gerrard, Riera, and two out of Keane/Kuyt/Torres, if fit, every match.

He did,He left Spurs last july for the club he's supported his whole life Liverpool.
He hasnt done too badly,he's not scored as many goals as he would have liked but unfortunately for him and Liverpool the player he was bought to play alongside Fernando Torres has had injury problems which were unforeseen, but now he's back and we'll see a Torres and Keane partnership which was only really evident against everton where there was the beginning of a good understanding due to Torres pace and Keanes intelliegence.

He showed again tonight his lack of confidence is his downfall at the moment in front of goal. He missed 2 good chances and an absolute sitter in the first half.

His build up play is good but late on in the first half he had a good chance about 6 to 7 yards out from goal but chose to play it back. Last year at spurs he would have had a shot at goal and probably scored.

IMO he needs a few goals and to start all the games he's fit enough to play in and to finish them too and his confidence will come back.
