Ian Black to Hearts?

Heart of Midlothian
comment on the article

Looks like he's signed a pre contract.

I'm an admirer of Black. Definately a stand out in a decent Caley team over the last two or three seasons (maybe not this season!). He needs to watch his dicipline however.

Also, a positive move in the respect that we have signed a proven SPL player. When was the last time we done that? I now believe 100% that Vlad is letting Csaba have full control over our first team and potential signings.

The article also says we offered him a significantly better deal than our chums across the City.

I have always rated him as a player.

The biggest positive I see in this move, is as you mention, that it appears that Lazlo is now getting to sign his own men. I doubt very much that he is a player Vlad has seen alot of this year. This can only be a good thing fore future signings.

Ian Black is a staunch Jambo. I used to watch him for at under 13/14 level (hearts boys club)and I'll tell you he was puttin in tackles like Sounness on guys twice his size. If he can calm his temperament he'd make a quality player for us. He has developed into a good player at Caley with their workman like outlook.

I used to go along cause my mates cousin is Liam Buchanan (now at Partick). We could do a lot worse than signing him. He's not the biggest but he's quick, strong and he knows where the net is. He has all the qualities of a robbo type player and Im not sayin that lightly.

His record at Cowden and Partick are very good (he's just come bck from an injury). Problem is Mixu had him at Cowden and knows how good he is (rumours were he ws going to hibs until he got injured and they got Nish instead). If he comes to the Prem League Id be watchin. Quality Player. I dont know how he aint playing there already.

My mate played for cowden alongside Liam Buchanan. He's not good enough for Hearts IMO

I know the guy. He's from where I am. Decent player I feel and good enough for Hearts. However, I don't think we need another midfielder.

With Hearts current wage bill, do we need another midfielder? Also, our midfield is great as it is. Could this be a hint that we will be losing midfielders, such as Augiar and Driver, who have attracted attention from bigger clubs, in January?

Exactly what the doctor ordered. A jambo who will fight for the cause and not A N OTHER Eastern Block nobody.
And lets be honest we were always gonna sell in Jan so less of your suprise guys, face it.
Tyson, striker from Nottingham Forest too apparently, not so sure on this one, seems to have had bad luck with injuries all his life- We can do without another one of them! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nathan_Tyson- Have a look.
