I never used his goal to justify his place, if you read my comments indepth... I mentioned that his moves and touches gives extra space in the midfield which Scolari values than aimless runs.. his goals are added bonus and not that bad in comparison with other midfielders in the team. If Scolari gives him freedom to move more to the third half of the field, he will be more useful and effective as he was at Barca and for Portugal, I reckon that will change if he plays alongside Lampard and Essien instead of Ballack.

lool soo what the chelsea fans are saying is if the ref had a better game they would have won this match have a laugh it was a red card,, YC are always debatable and didnt really impact the game yday

I also remember Lampard spouting off about catch us if you can to United in like September, well two victories against Fulham and Wigan in the games in hand should do it.

Nah I'm sorry I have to stick up for him. If you read the title of the article it says "What IS our best team?"

I think most Chelsea fans would agree Essien would be in our best team! We all know he's injured! maybe if you read things through you wouldn't end up looking like such a fool!

rowingisamanssport (?), 2 victories won't 'do it' unless 13 or so unanswered goals are scored in each of the matches collectively without reply. man U are 6 points behind chelsea with a much lower goal difference. Casio calculators are probably the best by the way.

yeah yeah flat knees, another surprise, someone responds with an insult, you clever witted individual. Instead of some sort of educated response. I think being level on points at this stage of the season would happily constitute catching them up, so think before you type... I foresee 6-0 and 7-0 against Fulham and Wigan anyway, oh and I made 13 from that without a calculator! Amazing, come back when you have a degree and a masters :P!

I agree with you rowingisamanssport (U9895071) But i think that mikel should not be in the team as he gives away far to many free kicks. However Ballack is playing well at the mometn and Big Phil should leave thwe team alone as his subs have cost us a few games now. Also i agree when we recently played in the Champions league who scored our winner DROGBA. As of that your teams mint mate and as for the Man City fan come back when your chairmen actually knows the rules of football.
