A manager can make, hope that big sam continues as he has started & you dont get relegated.

Good luck.

It does seem these days that if players gang up on a Manager who they believe is being nasty to them, they can get rid of him - witness Sunderland, Spurs and now Blackburn. How long before Big Sam upsets these prima donnas and they try the same again ?

Vinotackler, you are spot on. Unfortunately, this happens because Clubs and Chairmen do not give enough support to the Managers they hire. If Ince was given time and also the chance to bring his own choices, things may have improved. This is true at smaller clubs and this is no slight to Blackburn.
Managers must be able to pick and get the team they want and not be forced to accept someone else's team.
Regarding the rumours about players slacking at training, and sulking when asked to do extra training, can you ever think such a thing could happen at say a club like United? No way. Fergie would carpet him on the spot.
Initially players were exploited and hence the Bosman ruling but now it is time that the Authorities looked at the whole mess and try to bring some sort of sense to this whole thing of player power.

Don't get excited. Every manager has a 'honeymoon' period... and you played Stoke...at home.

What a difference a few ref's bad decisions make? That was the difference between six points for Ince or even a few points. What a difference the media made to the chances of Paul Ince by continually undermining him and scrutinising his credentials and experience. What difference it will make to the Black youth and Black players not to have a Black icon or role model ? Because the difference was two or three REF decisions. So we can all pontificate about experience and credentials and qualifications when we understand what the real difference is ? ? What a difference EXPERT Journalism can create yikes

"It's only stoke."

A win's a win, and in our situation, I'll take anything.

Sure, Big Sam may have had a poor run at Newcastle after a good start, but Newcastle never gave him much confidence, the club wasn't right for him. Blackburn, on the other hand, suit him brilliantly, and the players love his scientific methods, like what they were used to under Mark Hughes. Look what happened to us during his reign. Allardyce makes perfect use of limited resources, that's what he's good at, and Blackburn can provide him with that sort of challenge that he relishes.

Mind you, I was horribly wrong about Paul Ince a few months back...

Sorry but take it from me as an expert NUFC fan

Big Sam will take you down

He has no grasp of modern day football or tactics and has no Plan B

If you have any ambition at all, you'll follow my generous advice

What if Allardyce acts on the same principles that saw him push Bolton from relegation fodder regularly to fighting for Europe instead of the 20-game experience he had with Newcastle? We're to believe he will now do badly wherever he goes because of the NUFC experience?

All you W.U.Ms keep on saying it was only stoke but I think youll find their away form was as bad as our home form so in that respect it was a good result!
Its a start for us and thats what we needed and in that respect it was a great result.
No hard feelings to stoke they are a good team \and with their home form I recon they will be ok this season

Congratulation Blackburn a good win. Under Big Sam your club will have a bright future. What we would give to have him at Leeds right now.
