FulhamIreland (U8847566) posted Dec 19, 2008 I would like to see a replacement for Bullard (if he goes) and a wide left winger, maybe Richardson but I can't see that happening.

True Football Genius (U9341188) posted Dec 19, 2008 I can't see Richardson coming to Fulham. And if Bullard does unfortunately leave, he MUST be replaced by a midfielder valued at around 5 million.

_Bandit_ (U12841510) posted Dec 20, 2008 Keeping Bullard and Hangeland has to be our main priority. Without Hangeland I can see our defense falling apart. Him and Hughes have been so consistent, losing either one of them would be a huge blow.

FulhamIreland (U8847566) posted Dec 21, 2008 O'Shea would never come to Fulham as cover Bandit. I saw a bit of Berra last season and I was impressed. I'd love to see him coming. After watching yesterdays game I think Adam Johnson would be a great addition to play on our left wing.

humanfrog (U9111223) posted Dec 30, 2008 Guys, i'm not convinced we need another central midfielder... Everyone seems to have overlooked andreasen... he made such an impact last year (in relegation battle) and has not has his chance this year. also both murphy and bullard are attacking midfielders and I am amazed that murphy has not been found out as a holding midfielder(even if he has been playing well). I wouldn't change the the bullard-murphy axis, but andreasen is a domineering ballwinner which we lack.

curty81 (U13763215) posted Dec 30, 2008 I agree that Hangeland is the main player we need to keep. Bullard is and has been great for Fulham, but if someone is offering a good price for him I think we should take it. I think Hangeland has been the key to keep so many clean sheets this year. If we lose Bullard I think a younger midfielder who can play off murphy would be a good choice. I have faith in Roy's picks.

JHaynimo (U8307373) posted Dec 30, 2008 Hangeland has been reported as saying: he wants to stay on several occasions: so most of that talk is from the media: who enjoy cherrypicking our players for the use of others. Apart from VDS/Finnan: the others who have moved on: Davis/Saha/LBM/Steed to name a few, have'nt exactly enhanced their careers since. All have wasted a couple of seasons polishing the bench, the likely fate of the 2 being touted around in the media: who interestingly are unable to name customers, given that Prem managers have stated: there is little money around unless someone is sold. Only Manc City have cash to splash. Bullard is more likely to go than Brede ( who is on a long contract ) simply because he wants 50 to 65 grand a week, which the club may think excessive for a 29 year old. Q. Are others prepared to pay this plus £6 to 7mill transfer fee? What we do lack is flank pace to assist Zammo/Jonno by getting behind the oppo into the six yard box: where both are extremely effective. Hence lack of goals (especially away). Another lump up front would be handy. Rumour: Hodg looking at QPR's Blackstock for £2mill. Jo Kamara could fill the flank gap based on his season end efforts. So flank pace and an extra lump up front would help. Anyone leaving will be expensive as RoyBoy would need cash for replacements.

Redmike1563 (U13762838) posted Dec 30, 2008 I think the priority for Fulham is to keep hold of Bullard and Hangeland. Hangelands been a rock at the centre of defence this season, and Bullard has the creative flair needed to cause the opposite defence problems. He's also good at set plays. Comment on this article |
